Product Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome shoes with one small change. Awesome shoes! Cushioning, grip and tread height, energy return, lockdown, everything is like a dream on these shoes... Minus one thing for me... The heal just feels really strange and I almost returned the shoes because I could not get my heel seated. Found out that the liners in these are EXTREMELY thick and once I switched those out with a thinner profile liner my heel feels MUCH better seated and comfortable. Might just be my heel but other than that these are the best long run and easy day shoes I've owned! Switch out the liners with a thinner profile like I did if you have the heel issue and you'll be all good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great update I’ve owned every version of the Triumph since the 9. Some versions were good, some not so good. Loved the original Trump ISO, then came EVERUN versions and I dislike all of them. Saucony then updated to the Triumph 17 and it had really good cushioning. The 18 and 19 felt firmer and deader, but now comes the 20 and it’s softer with more pop to it. I think this is a great update. The fit is perfect and it’s a very comfortable upper. If you liked the 18 and 19 but wished it was a little softer you’ll like the 20!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They’re baaaack! I loved the Triumph 17 and put almost 500 miles on two pairs. But Triumph 18 and Triumph 19 were lackluster—the upper was better but the midsole was so much firmer than the Triumph 17. Triumph 20 finally gets it right. The upper is fantastic. The midsole is soft and rebounds well. And to make things ever better the shoe feels so much lighter! Thank you, Saucony!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoes ever! I am a female runner with wide feet and the D width was not sufficient to allow my big toes to remain straight in the toe box when running. I got a 2E instead. These are by far my favorite shoes. I use them for daily training and especially long runs. The extra width allows my toes to splay naturally. I have no bunion pain in these shoes! I am very hard on my shoes despite being a mid-foot striker and weighing 115lbs. I have 300 miles in these and they feel new. I usually retire shoes after 250 miles. The foam is very bouncy without being unstable. I would recommend this shoe if you are a neutral runner who wants max cush without the mush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday trainer I bought this a little over a month ago. Liked it so much, I came back for a second pair on sale. I've liked the Triumph 18 I got a couple years ago. Great everyday trainer and easily put in 600+ road miles without any visible breakdown or outsole wear. Tried the 19's which seemed a bit softer and an improvement on the 18's. Heard a rave review on the Triumph 20 and I got to agree it's a great show for me. Nice fit, breathable upper, lots of stack without feeling unstable, soft midsole material, cushy, yet responsive. Love the Vizipro color. Mid 100's miles into it, still loving it, so I bought the second pair. Never can be certain to get them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware. I have been wearing Saucony Triumphs for several years, I've probably owned around 50 pairs. I think the 20 is by far the worst version of the Triumph model. I've purchased 3 different pair this year and they have all had different issues. The sole of the first pair began pealing off 3 days after I purchased them. This type of thing happens, so I glued them back together. That pair of shoes has now been glued more than 5 times. I had the second pair for about a month and maybe 50 miles just walking around in them before the upper began separating from the midsole. I've been breaking in the last pair for a couple weeks but they have a hard spot in the sole that has bruised the ball of my foot so I'll probably recycle them and buy something different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cushion I purchased these running shoes back in May to use as a daily trainer in place of my Nike Pegasus 39s and these have truly blown me away. They hold up strong from recovery runs, to long runs, to jogging, even tempo work is strong in these. They provide a very strong cushion unlike any shoe I've tried before, yet remain a stable ride across solid terrain. The lifespan of these has also been quite nice, I've already put 160 miles into them so far, and will hopefully be adding many, many more. The only downside is that they aren't the lightest shoe and makes them feel a bit cumbersome at times when you're trying to go faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from saved running for me I ran cross country/track in college but in the decade since, I’ve had autoimmune flares and gained nearly 100 pounds due to inactivity. With flares under control, I wanted to re-experience that runner’s high but every run was painful and knees would swell for days. I was considering giving up but the run club I joined was raving about Saucony. Literally half the club sports a pair of Saucony so I gave the shoe finder a chance. Knowing I wanted a max cushion shoe, I went with the Triumph 20s. Knee pain be gone. I’m averaging just 14 miles per week, not a lot but I’m a 2XL guy and taking it slow. If I remember anything from my glory days, it’s that consistency is key and thus far these shoes have allowed the consistency I need to get back in the saddle.
