FEATURES of the Saucony Women's Guide 14 Shoe

  • Eye-opening comfort: Newly formulated PWRRUN foam packs in more responsiveness with a softer feel than most other EVA formulations, so it delivers a livelier sensation than what stability-seeking runners are accustomed to
  • Flawless stability: The tonal medial TPU guidance frame and 3D-engineered fascia in the upper both help deliver 360 degrees of stability while disappearing into the design of the shoe for a clean overall look
  • Distraction-free fit: FORMFIT addresses the collective constructions that help our shoes wrap and fit around your entire foot, and the Guide 14 has been streamlined to achieve more comfort with less bulk. Runners will primarily notice this in the enhanced heel fit and a generally lighter feel on foot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Treadmill Runs This is my third pair of Guides now. I have flat feet and run almost every day, and these are great for indoor runs where I don't need maximum cushioning. I order a half-size larger to fit my orthotics and the shoes feel great right out of the box. The Guide 14 seems to have a closer fit around the heel and ankle than the 13, which is nice. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the new laces; they snag on everything and stretch a lot more than I prefer. But overall I love these shoes. They're are also great for walks and casual wear. Please make wide width shoes in more colors and styles!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New changes = knee pain I have been wearing Saucony's since 2017 when I switched from Asics. I loved them until the 14's. I have never had knee pain running and these shoes caused both my knees to have sharp pain shooting through them, I couldn't even make it 4 miles so I had to return them. I found 13's on clearance through another online retailer and bought those instead. I hope Saucony fixes the Guide 14 cause once these 13's I found on clearance wear out, I'm going to be forced to find a new brand of running shoe:( However, I will give an extra star in my review for all the fun new colors to choose from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best stability shoe I’ve tried My first pair of Sauconys but won’t be my last. I overpronate and have overly flexible feet, so stability is a must for me. They’re usually clunky, heavy, and ugly. Not these! They’re ultra light and so comfortable right out of the box. They are soft and pliable all over, so there are zero hard panels to dig into the side or top of your foot. They’re also much sleeker and more flattering than the average stability shoe. Like with any athletic shoe, you should size up at least a half size to accommodate swelling, but the soft walls do allow for more expanding than any other sneaker I’ve tried which makes a big difference in leg fatigue by the end of a workout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PRICELESS FOOT COMFORT... I'm an 80 year old woman who has never run for starters! I have never worn a more comfortable shoe ever! I used to run my feet over a golf ball hoping for relief... no more golf ball for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy I bought these after owning two other pairs of Guides that I loved (I think one was a 12) and these just aren’t quite the same. After about 2 miles, my pinky toes go numb every time I wear them. I’ve tried lacing/tying them differently and they seem to fit well, but nothing has helped. They’re also incredibly noisy and squeak with every single step I take, which is very annoying and also a little embarrassing. I wish I had realized they weren’t going to work before I wore them for runs outside.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable Stability Shoe with Early Wear & Tear I purchased the Guide 14s in early September 2021. As of November 11, 2021, I've put 90 miles of running and walking on this shoe with noticable superficial medial wear and tear on the show cuff (see attached pictures). I have mild over pronation on both feet (mostly right foot). I run recreationally, about 11 miles per week, and also use this shoe for walking, about 5-12 miles per week. This wear pattern is common on other shoes I wear, but usually after 150+ miles. I expected more durability from this shoe for the cost, and how it's marketed in blogs and by Saucony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome upgrade from the Guide 13 I was a little nervous switching from the G13 to G14 from the reviews on this website. So much so that I bought like 4 pairs of G13s when they were on clearance but alas the time came to get new shoes after training for the Chicago marathon. I absolutely love the upgrade. The G14s feel way more stable than the 13s and much more responsive/ springy than the G13s. They also somehow feel lighter? I wrote this review because I feel like the only people that really write them have a negative view and I really do enjoy the G14s way more than the G13s. I wouldn't be as hesitant to switch into the G14s as the reviews suggest. Also, the colors are WAYYY better than the G13s! I don't feel like I'm color bombing anymore. I have 1 pair of the black/gum and 1 pair of the rosewater/punch color. Sooner rather than later I'll probably pick up a pair of the charcoal/rose and new natural shoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined great shoe Heel was too high, rubbed and hurt. Firmwr than previous year's model. Just switched to saucony last year and loved the guide 13. Guide 14 is disappointing.
