Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this has become my favorite shoe I've ever owned; 1. I'm a 43.5-44 street shoe and got these 42.5 and after 6 months of abuse these things have barely stretched and are still aggressive, supportive, and sensitive. <- rare to see all three in a shoe. 2. toe box is more accommodating (which I prefer over the pointed style of most Sportiva) 3. heel is super sensitive (which is another factor about Scarpa that I like over Sportiva) 4. there is no dead space in the shoe even after break in - still a satisfying puff of air being pushed out of the shoe when slipping on 5. plus, for a lace-up shoe you still have toe rubber for hooks and jamming - all while being minimalistic and lightweight - truly a remarkable piece of climbing gear

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t had these long, so durability is still yet to be tested but everyone I know with them has had them for a year+. I love the laces, super easy to personalize the fit. Shoes broke in after just 2 sessions. I wear a 41 street shoe and bought the 40.5 and they fit perfect. The edging is next level and I love actually being able to toe hook. The build quality of scarpa is unmatched, I will be hard pressed to but anyone else’s shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the right fit for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found that the volume of the shoe was too high for my foot. The toe box are also seemed lower in volume than the Instinct VS. For this reason, if I were to do it again I would want a lower volume heel and higher volume toe box (Perhaps the womens Instinct VS). Great shoe for the right person, though. I found the quality of the product high and the edges precise. Great shoe for the right person, though. You need to know your foot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have become my favorite all around shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these a little tight, but they wore in in about 10 months and now fit my feet like a glove. I bought them as my volume sport shoes, but have started to use them everywhere. From extreme edging on face boulders to slab to pumpy overhangs, i keep pulling these out over my more aggressive and less aggressive shoes time and time again. Now i want a slipper version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to get something more aggressive than the shoes I've been climbing with for the past year or so. I wanted something with a lace closure as well. These have done everything I have asked of them, a few boulder sessions and a little sport climbing. I still need to break them a little more to get the full performance but so far so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Precise Climbing Shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like these shoes. They provide a snug and comfortable fit for someone with a wide foot. They excel on technical walls (small foot chips) where foot placements can be precarious. I've found I can wear these shoes for long periods of time before I need to take them off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommended Climbing Shoe!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these shoes as my second pair of climbing shoes and I love them! High grip and fairly comfortable break in period. Be sure to get these really tight because they will stretch a bit after 8-10 climbing sessions. After break in they are extremely comfortable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SENDERZ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I climb about 3x a week in the gym and about every other weekend outdoors. I bought these and a pair of Katana Lace climbing shoes at the same time, love them both! Very minimal wear on these shoes after about 3 weeks of solid climbing, so I'm excited about their durability. I mainly use the Instincts for bouldering and they have such good control and I feel like I have great sensitivity compared to other shoes. I highly recommend these shoes if you're looking for high-quality shoes for a great price! The sizing was a bit weird... I have these in a 44.5 EU and I wear a 44 EU in La Sportiva. I definitely wouldn't go any smaller on these shoes, they fit perfectly and have stretched just a tiny bit since I've gotten them. I only know that because my right foot is slightly bigger than my left and at first, I had to take my right shoe off after every climb, but after breaking them in, I can wear them as long as I want before taking them off.
