The Scarpa Men's Maestrale Ski Boot is an alpine ski boot with touring features that stays lightweight without compromising on performance. Speedlock Plus ski/walk mode makes it easy to switch between downhill and hiking, giving you access to the whole mountain without a struggle. Its Intuition® liner is comfortable for long days of riding, and the Vibram® rubber soles give you excellent grip because they're specifically designed for shifty outdoor terrain. And, for a little extra peace of mind, its Outdry® construction ensures that no water sneaks its way into your boot, keeping you nice and dry all day long.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Good Boot as Reviewed by Amateur[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being that this is my very first season backcountry skiing and being that my skill level is intermediate at best, this review is tailored to other “intermediate” backcountry skiers.
The boots are light, and though not as stiff as other competing boots, are quite stiff to me. Indeed they inspire confidence downhill as compared to the discount boots I have been wearing for years.
It appears my right foot is slightly bigger than my left, because my right boot seems to be tighter, even after “packing out” over the last 5 trips. If my right boot is still constructing my right toes by the end of this season I’ll go in and have the boot heat adjusted to fix the hot spot.
Last issue is that you should check your rear walk/ski mode lever for ice before going into ski mode. Mine popped out just once, due to ice buildup. Once cleared of debris, the lever was again deterministic and secure in its operation.
I am confident these boots will serve me well for years to come. They certainly are not cheap so they had better!

Solid ski mountaineering boot[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good, solid boot, with all the features you'd want for a ski mountaineering boot. Light enough for the ascent, not too light; 4 buckles, solid on the descent, easy switch between walk mode and ski mode. I had a Scarpa boot about 20 years ago - they last.
Age and gender are unimportant when it comes to gear - I use Men's equipment and boots. Just a question of fit and preference.

Great Boot[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these as a replacement for an older pair. Want a boot for an "old" man who skis and skins? These are them! Not too stiff to make life unbearable but not too soft to make you ski like an old man. Lots of support for great turns and very comfortable for skinning up the hill. Great overall boot/

SCARPA SKI BOOTS NOTES All Scarpa ski boots use Mondo sizing.
Scarpa ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size.
Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.
