All Right shoe with issues, sizing and fit[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned over a dozen pairs of Scarpa shoes over the past 20 years. These shoes have a odd sizing and fit. All my scarpa zen shoes were 43.5 and they fit perfectly. No breaking in just slap them on and they were perfect. I went with a 1/2 size larger with these shoes and they fit allright. They need to be broken in . I have 10+ miles on these shoes and they stll rub my large toe when doing serious walking/hiking. Wearing them around casually no issues. It seems like the heel support pushes my foot forward causing big toe rub. It may be due to the toe kick to high. There is plenty of toe room when on and not walking. The quality is a notch below what scarpa made in the past.

Defective Product! Pass on it[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to purchase these Scarpas after using the previous gen., non-gtx model to hike hut-to-hut in the White Mountains of NH BUT these are a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! I purchased this gtx model because I thought I could get the same great performance plus a liner to add a bit of warmth for the winter here in rural, upstate NY. However, THE BUILD QUALITY IS TERRIBLE! Both the left and the right heels are unravelling on the insides after a few months! I have not even been on aggressive trails - in fact, if you are a hiker most of the trails I have been on would be equivalent to dog walks. And mostly I have been walking about town in them! It is evident the build quality is poor and/or defective and these shoes are not functional! The fact that the color matches some of my other gear is just not good enough.This is unacceptable!

Meets expectations[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking to try out a new lite hiking shoe. This is My first pair of Scarpa, and the fit is spot on. I wear 9 1/2 so i got size 43 and was very pleased, they fit perfectly. Very comfortable, hope to put on many miles

Great low-top boot for hiking and bakpacking[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long been looking for a low-top boot that will enable me to hike faster while backpacking, while at the same time giving my old ankles and feet proper support. I foun d what I was looking for in this shoe.
