First time Scarpa buyer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically wear Katanas and was looking for something different, just because. I would have just bought another pair but these came along. I wear a 38 in Katanas and went down a half size in these. I think the rubber will take less time than the 3 months it takes to break in the Katanas as they are way stiffer. That said, the Katanas lasted a LONG time and I will be curious to see the durability of the Maestro. I have a narrow foot with a slightly wider toe box - if this helps. It is impossible for me to find shoes that fit properly. I ordered several different brands and sizes before I finally settled on these.
