Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid climbing shoe! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a little over a month ago. I had La Sportivas before and the toe wore through, so I needed to get another pair. I wanted something that was an upgrade and so I ended up looking at these Scarpas. I LOVE the tongue of these shoes, they’re cushy and add more comfort. The hardest part for me to break in was the heels, but I was able to wear these the whole climbing session the first time I wore these. Since then, they’ve been great. I feel like I have great control in my toes and these definitely were the upgrade I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tight and secure [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my vapors a few weeks ago and I am very happy with the purchase. I bought a size 38 and normally wear a 40/41 street shoe. Yes, the break-in period was quite painful and almost had me questioning if I went too small but I'm happy with my sizing. A few weeks of wear and they now fit nice and tight, in the good way. The heel dug into my Achilles a fair bit when I first started wearing them, but it has gotten much better as I have continued to break them in. I normally climb in a gym but went on an outdoor bouldering trip the week after these arrived and the performed quite well on actual rock. The rubber is very sticky and I feel secure on tiny footholds. Overall quite happy with the product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this shoe! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of Vapor V's and I'm in love. These shoes are so comfortable, feel really solid when heel and toe hooking, and are precise enough for slab while being aggressive enough on overhang. The only disadvantage is they dye your feet bright pink for about 3 months after you purchase. Awesome shoe for intermediate climbers moving onto more advanced routes/problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes. This is my second pair. I bought them, in order to trade off every other day, with the ones I already had. They are just technical enough to be strong on the steep routes while being comfy enough to not kill my feet. They edge, smear and scum beautifully. They are an all-around shoe that work great on steep routes, slab routes, boulder problems and volumes. Scarpa shoes are fairly true to size, but know that they stretch quite a bit with repeated wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grip and Shape [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rubber on these shoes and the downturn give me a newfound confidence on the wall. Considering this is a climbing shoe, I'd say it's pretty comfortable. This shoe allows me to make moves I couldn't in me previous shoes. Runs a bit smalln would probably go up at least a half size from what you think you would wear in your street shoe size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the new model! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing Vapor V's for 5 years now. They're aggressive enough for bouldering, flexible enough for slab, and for me personally they're a perfect fit. There's a good balance of sensitivity and support, and it's great for heel hook/toe hooks. Lifespan is average for other shoes in the same price range. I was nervous about this new model, but it is fantastic! My only complaint in the past was just a little bit of heel gapping, and the new model added extra padding there. Gapping gone! It also makes it insanely comfortable. The other big change was that they added some elastic behind the velcro that really tightens up the fit all over. Great shoe, excellent model. I highly recommend giving it a try if (like me) Mira's rub terribly on your pinkie toe. I wear a women's size 8 in street shoes and I've worn both 39 and sized down to 38 1/2 comfortably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: If your looking to upgrade from a basic climbing shoe to a more moderately advanced shoe, this shoe is a great one to upgrade to. Love the slight curve and overall fit for the shoe. CONS: Size is smaller than La Sportiva which is the brand I normally wear. Had to go up a size and a half to get the right fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Functional [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed more aggressive shoes than my beginner pair. These fit the bill but are surprisingly comfortable. Run a touch small but so far they're pretty great. Can't speak to durability yet since it's only been a short amount of time.
