Now an essential!I use this bag every time I go backpacking now. Usually for my set of dry/camp clothes, which has turned out to be a necessity for shoulder season trips in the Pacific Northwest and for a longer circuit I recently did in Chile. It's held up great and I don't mind putting in a little extra elbow grease for the AirPurge since it helps me use space efficiently. This is a heavier option than the BlockerLite but I like that it's more durable as well, so both have their pros!

Let in water after 2 usesWent floating twice with the 5L, it did great! Usually toss my phone in it, tie it to a tube, and hold it on my lap. Went floating yesterday and thought it would be fine. However, halfway through the trip I noticed my phones camera flashing a lot and a ton of water built up in the bottom of the sack. The only drybag I've ever had problems with. No hole that I can find, just somehow let water into the bag.

Arrived with the vent hole damagedWe were packing for our trip in Himalayas (Everest Base Camp trek), so I did not have time to exchange it before our departure. But there is a serious defect with the bag. The vent is broken. Money thrown away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Good overallWorks well. The air is really hard to purge out, take a lot of pressure. If you have food you don't want to smash it's difficult to purge all the way. Better than not having a purge though
