Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great garment with versatility! Great piece of clothing for the fly fisher! Quality material and construction. Bought my first one and wore it once, bought a second one when I got home. Works in so many applications, bug stopper, sun shirt and can also be layered for cooler mornings. Getting up in years, it's nice to have the "runs large" sizing for extra comfort and versatility Been eyeing these for some time, finally pushed the "buy" button. Best spent money in a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally worth it I’ve seen the mosquitoes so thick they could carry a small child off at one of my local rivers. I’ve tried many different things as well as cans of bug spray over the years and have had limited results...until now. I tried the bug stopper hoodie and it was awesome. I put the hood up and was instantly sheltered from sun and bugs. This thing really works! Great fit and look, but most of all it does the job!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hood is a hindrance The hood does not stay on, and is not big enough. In a wind of 10 mph or greater the hood becomes a nuisance and distracts from the task at hand or the objective ahead. I have had this piece for 4 days, wanting to like it and wear it, but sadly it has fallen short. Living in the West, the wind is a constant, constantly blowing the hood off. I couldn't recommend this piece to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, comfortable fit. Nice fit overall. I'm 6'1" and 160lbs . I usually wear a large in Simms button down shirts but went with a medium. The sleeves are just long enough and it fits me well in the shoulders. Fabric is comfortable and seems durable. I've worn and washed them a few times and no snags thus far. Mosquitoes aren't quite out yet so can't speak to the bug repelling effectiveness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight hoody that works for bug pro I live in Valdez, AK and guide all over the state. This is a great, lightweight hoody. I’ve used it climbing, hiking, backpacking, hunting, and fishing. It definitely works for keeping the bugs away, and I much prefer it to covering myself with bug spray. I also have a couple of the even lighter weight solar flex versions, which are also highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and feel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 6 ft 180 lbs with a 40 inch chest and the medium is a great fit. I wear a light wool undershirt with this and a ball cap and bug headnet under the hood and over the face. I like this much better than using liquid repellent and the mosquitoes are no longer a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for any outdoor activity [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From mowing the lawn to fishing in Alaska, this shirt is comfortable, repels insects, and protects from the sun. Bought my usual size, and it is roomy enough to layer over lightweight long underwear in cooler weather. Looks good enough to wear around town, too.
