Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hey Simm's a couple of ideas I really like this shrt but I have 2 suggestions. 1) I would make it a "snap" button shirt. So I can snap it to close it and un snap to take it off. It's a shirt I wear when the weather is cold one minute and warm the next. Or I am working. So the buttons although nice could easily be substituted with snaps with the quality of Simms. 2) I've read all the reviews and I would actually say that this shirt runs a touch small. I'm 5'8" 205. So I'm a little thicker than some. I can wear a t-shirt under but nothing more and stay comfortable. So, if it was a 1/4 size larger (each size) I would love it. Other than these two items I really like the shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm shirt [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shirt seems like nice quality, definitely warm. The outer layer is a little thinner than I expected, but the insulation layer certainly makes up for it. Not sure if I love the metal buttons, found them a little annoying on the sleeves when typing on my computer. Fit is definitely on the larger side. I found the medium to fit more like a medium jacket than a medium shirt, which may be good if you want to wear it as an outer layer. It was a little baggy for me so I went with a small, which fits better but the sleeves are a touch short for someone who is 6'2".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good quality shirt jack. I really like this shirt. As with all Simms products it is top quality. I am of average size and build and the large fits perfectly. This is cotton so I don't wear it fishing. I use it around camp and around town. I don't like the velcro shirt pocket closures. There is too much stick and it takes 2 hands and a concentrated effort to open then. I'm on the fence on the metal buttons. They will never break from getting smacked but I am concerned they may wear the button holes prematurely. But I am just speculating about that. I would recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it . Need to have two so one can dry out if wet. I am 5'8''185 lbs 45" chest 38" waist 34" sleeve.Sleeve length good.Chest is good even when streching while working over head or casting.Long shirt length over rear prevevents shirt from pulling out and more warmth for my lower back. Some air passes through shirt while walking keeps your temp.down. very comfortable to wear. Very nice material, outside fabric and inside fabric. Tule fog, 45'f, 10 mph wind you are looking for light wind breaker or vest.Tight fitting long sleeve top that allows shirt to slide gives you extra +5'F. Rings out fairly well after falling in,becomes cool weather shirt. Needs protection for elbows and sholders. Two flowtant holders on pocket.Simms fishing vest warms it up.I like your solid colors. Plan to buy another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short in the arms and not enough movement room in shoulder and underarm area About an inch short of stated length in the arms. Also, this is supposed to be a high-end fishing-specific shirt. I was disappointed in the poor cut around the shoulders and underarms. The shirt is fine while standing still with my arms down, but binds at the shoulders and underarms during fishing, and the sleeves pull up because of this. Just a run-of-the-mill shirt, really. Nice fabric, and seems well made, but without improvement in the cut and sleeve length, I'll be going back to Carhartt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So sweet I purchased 2 for me and given 3 others as gifts Purchased another ColdWeather shirt as a backup to my first. I've had my first one for years and wear it 40 days a year + camping. It's getting a bit worn so I decided to get a backup in case Simms quits making them. As long as it doesn't rain this shirt makes the perfect Jacket all summer long in the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado. Perfect weight and great durability. I've also given 3 others as gifts to wife and friends. That is how much I like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. One of the favorite things that hang in my closet. The perfect weight and just right for chilly October evenings or cool spring mornings. I spend a lot of time around people that love the outdoors and without fail, when I wear this top I get great compliments. Fits great and much warmer than I expected. My go to if sitting around a campfire is part of the agenda. I plan to add more colors of the same shirt to my collection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get one of these High quality, very warm, I have several of these, you can't do better. 5"10", 165 lbs and the medium is a good fit. The updated style is significantly longer in the body that the older version - I actually prefer the older version. I can understand adding a little length but I think they went a little overboard; nevertheless it's probably a personal preference and you can't beat the combination of comfort, warmth, and fit .
