Great baselayer, held up well, but can be itchy...I have these for both my kids, and they both love it because it kept them warm even on a blustery ski day. However, one of my child's skin is more sensitive and she wouldn't wear it directly on her skin. She always wear a thin tech layer underneath the smartwool baselayer. These baselayer held up very well, still have plenty of life left after 2 ski seasons (bought them a little big, and they stretch very well). We ski, snowshoe, and hike in them.

Great itemI bought a size Medium for my 9 and a half year old daughter. It was just the right fit, for now, but I decided to size up to Large, so it has some room for growth. Larger size (11-12 y.o) fits just as great, with slightly longer sleeves, yet comfortable length. She wears this shirt with matching pants around the house and does not complain about any itching. I bought 2 sets for her and what a great price. I am pleased to see that my daughter appreciates a comfort of natural fabrics and a great quality of Smartwool. I would highly recommend this product.

Great baselayer. Size 16-18 missingLove these wool shirts. But I have a problem. There is a large gap in the sizing. A boys XL fits up to a 32" chest. The smallest men's fits chest 36-38. I tried to buy him a women's XS or SM, but the styles are all obviously for women, with a lower scoop neck. I'll have to look elsewhere.

The only baselayer I will buy for my kids!I bought this after my daughter outgrew her last SmartWool baselayer, which is still in great shape and will be passed down to little sister. So soft, great fit, easy to care for.

Great Base layerMy daughter loves the colors of this base layer. I love that it helps to keeps her warm on the coldest days. She never complains that it itches like some other wool items by other brands. It runs a little long which is great for wearing outdoors and active kids.

Just wish there were toddler smartwools!Perfect for mountain sled days! As a layer it is the best, we can play all day and everyone stays warm as toast in 15-25 degree weather. Just wish there were toddler sizes as the material doesnt bug our 2 year old!
