Thank you, SmartwoolI have been a loyal Smartwool customer for years. Lately, as I've had to replace some much loved pieces due to normal body changes as life goes on, I've struggled with finding that same, comfortable flattering fit. I was happy when I read "Fit updated to improve functionality while enhancing aesthetics for a range of body shapes" and ordered one to see if it is true. I am so happy to report that in my case, the fit is absolutely better. I also love the rose color. Thank you for paying attention to our comments and listening to the demographic that probably has the most disposable income to spend on your products. Happy, happy, happy.

So Much More Than a Baselayer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a month or so. Finally just washed it this morning after about 8-10 wears. I was afraid I'd have withdrawals if it wasn't available every day. The fit is great, not too tight but not baggy. I am just under 5'8" and approximately 140lbs. Bought a medium and it's perfect. Have worn it cycling, hiking and just as a shirt with and without a vest. I never noticed an odor and none of my friends mentioned one and they aren't the type to hold back. I washed on gentle cycle and hung to dry. Can't wait for another month of wears!

Very warm- lil itchy[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to wear for general day/day during the cold months. They are noticeable warm as soon as you put them on. I’m not terribly sensitive to wool, but they definitely have some of that itchiness. It won’t bother me much but for others it could be a big issue. I expected this but chose them anyway for the sustainability factor. I usually wear a medium and found these fit as expected- tight enough to not be a barrier under other clothes. I feel confident these will hold up, but am being very careful washing and air drying to keep them in good shape.

Essential[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does my job require work outdoors in changeable Finger Lakes New York weather, I am also a hiker. As a female who 'runs cold'.. warmth is key along with comfort next to the skin and the stretch of the fabric. Smartwool Women's Merino 250 Baselayer Crew checks all of the boxes. It is an essential. They launder well--no special handling needed--washer to dryer with the rest of my dark clothes. And honestly I can wear these to lounge around the house, or slip a vest or open cardigan on and go shopping with friends. An essential and I plan to supplement my current winter wardrobe with more of these.

Great Versatile Layer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this style of the 250 baselayer crew. it is cut just right to function as a baselayer, a midlayer, or even on its own. It washes well, and it'll survive the dryer, but I prefer to air dry it. It's hearty for cold days yet breathes well, and can last several wears before it needs to be washed. I've been slowly building a collection of these over the last 4 years, and I'm glad I found this one!

My favorite baselayer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go-to long underwear base layer for my upper body. I use it all winter for walking my dog, hikes, or xc skiing. I use it in the fall and spring for climbing. After one full season of wear, it's holding up great. This is my second one, because I like to have them on rotation and not get caught in the laundry. I love that I can generally get away with wearing one frequently for a week before needing to wash it.
I'm usually a small or medium on top and I wear a medium in this top. (My chest is 36", waist 29.5".) It's fitted, but comfortable. There's no way a small would fit me. It does slightly stretch out during wear, but not in a problematic way and washing it shrinks the wool back.

Warm & soft[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last winter I learned something: I hate how bulky my winter closet had become. I was relying on huge hoodies and sweaters so when I went outside with my 7 sweater layers I could barely move my arms and frankly I was getting odd looks from the neighbors. This year I decided it's time to pretend to be a functional adult so I picked this up and my neighbor is finally talking to me again. Thank you Smartwool!

Great color[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a trip to Yellowstone national park. The color is a bit different from the photo in natural light. Less coral/orangish as I expected. A bit darker and a bit more pinkish. But it's still really pretty and of course warm and cozy as the other Smartwool 250 I owned.
