Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slight improvement I was hoping this would be an improvement over the last 150 tee and closer to the iteration before that. What kills the cut is the raglan sleeve that flares at the arm and leaves excess draping in the underarms. The upside is it seems longer and fits in the torso more than the last design and they got rid of the elastic collar and sleeves that didn't hold up very well after washes. Still not sold on the wrap around side seam as it just became more of a pain to fold as time went by. Will still always long for the crew neck design with the flat lock seams that came in the box as those held up so much better. Searching elsewhere for new everyday tees.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from High quality shirt, but not for those who are more plus size While I liked the quality of the shirt, it didn't fit. I typically wear XL in my everyday clothing, but this XL didn't fit like my other shirts. It felt very tight. I loved the length and color, but it was just a little bit too tight for me to feel comfortable in. If it was just a little big bigger, it would have fit. As a suggestion, have larger sizes for women's clothing or have a unisex fit. I think there is a market for larger, good quality wool clothing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shape changed drastically after line drying I purchased this shirt prior to a 2-month research trip to East Africa. The lightweight wool is ideal for long days working outdoors in rural areas, and I was really pleased with the shirt at first. After hand washing I hung it on a line to dry. The shirt must not have been completely straight as I hung it, and now the two side seams are twisted around the waist, with one extending from the armpit down across the front and the other extending down around the lower back. I've tried washing again and re-shaping while the wool is wet, even putting the shirt on while damp and gently re-shaping the seams around my body as it dries, but the change seems irreversible. The new positions of these seams make the fit uncomfortably tight in odd places, such as in one shoulder and the opposite hip. I'm surprised and disappointed, especially for such an expensive t-shirt, that a pretty innocuous hand-washing and line drying could cause this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funkify by Defunking I am a sweaty and stinky person and I am a backpacker. I am a Smartwool junkie. Merino wool is the only fabric that allows me to enjoy hot, sweaty, prolonged outdoor fun without getting funky. I can wear a shirt 3-4 days backpacking without washing it--which is needed mostly because it's salty-stiff, not stinky. Same goes for socks (Note - never share a tent with synthetic sock wearers...). I used to see a lot about wool's super-special antimicrobial properties. Nowadays the literature weaves a scientific tale about how wool's amazing vapor-wicking fiber structure doesn't allow the time to build up bacteria. OK, whatever. I don't really care. What I know is that wool is cool. Wool is warm. Wool doesn't stink. Spend the money. Get rid of the funk and enjoy more Funky Time in the desert, in the mountains, at the beach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile layer or on its own! Love these! I have a couple of the older short sleeved t's with the set in sleeves so wasn't sure I would like this raglan sleeve but it is very nice and flattering! Excellent layer piece or worn alone, nice fit through the torso. The light weight is perfect for travel and can be worn in warm weather or under something in cooler weather and the light weight wool is a natural anti-microbial. This fabric is easy to wash in a sink and dries quickly. Please keep making 150 base layer T's both short & long sleeved as well as the hoodies. I will be taking two of the short sleeved t's, one long sleeve, as well as the 150 pullover hoody on a trip to Ireland and Scotland in May. I am 5' 7", 125 lbs. with 34" bust - I ordered a small and it is drapes nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All purpose simple tee I bought this shirt for all purpose use. I love wearing smartwool products in my everyday life and the SmartWool 100% merino is my go to fabric for basically everything. I'm currently planning a backpacking trip where it will be too cold to wear this tee while hiking, however, I plan to sleep in it along with my warm sleeping bag. While hiking on the trip, I plan to layer other long sleeved SmartWool products. This shirt fits great and is not itchy. Perfect for everyday life and great adventures. Smartwool is great for backpacking with limited space, as one can wear the products longer between washing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love Smartwool. I'm walking the Haute Route this Fall and need to be very selective about the few items I will carry/wear for 3 weeks. The potion pink caught my eye first of all, but when I realized it was a Smartwool top I knew it was going in the pack. My other Smartwool 150 tee shirt is 100% merino, but I really like the little bit of nylon they added to this one. It feels wonderful next to the skin and it has washed beautifully. Pricey but worth it to me for the way it performs: fits just right, love the color, love the way it gives with just the right amount of stretch, I can get more than one day's wear because it doesn't hold odors, wears beautifully long term. I also love that it doesn't have glaring logos and it looks like a nice casual t-shirt instead of serious hiking gear for the days we'll spend site-seeing after our thru-hike. This is a winner all around for me. Love that there are no trade offs!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
