Wonderful Packing JacketI love this jacket because it packs easily into it's own pocket and I can hook it to my purse or pack. I have worn it on an 18-day trip through Yorkshire, Scotland and London and I wore it this fall while traveling in Colorado and Golden Gate National Park. This jacket is warm in the right places and water resistant as well as wind resistant. It protects me from the sun too. It's attractive, lightweight and very convenient. I carry this jacket with me whenever I travel. I like that the hood stays up and I like to wear the hood over a baseball cap for extra sun protection. If you hike or travel (or both) this jacket is highly recommended.

Excellent light weight packable jacketGreat little jacket. I use it for day-to-day outings. Ties around the waist when it gets a little warm and packs down small if you need to stick it in another bag. I sized up a size because some days I do like to layer. Works well for warmth paired with a 150. My favorite part of the jacket is the merino wool underarm panels. Breathable!

Nice lightweight windbreakerI bought this for running when it is lightly raining or windy and it also holds a layer of warmth in as well. I like that certain parts of the jacket have merino wool lining for breathability and comfort. The hood stays on well also with how the angle of it lays. I bought the white and it is transparent so you can see the color of your shirt underneath. I love that it folds up into the small chest pocket for packing and traveling, super convenient. I miss having hand pockets however, I find myself wanting to stick my hands in pockets and there are none. Overall, it is a great fit, I am typically a small and bought the small and it fit perfect, not tight and not too loose. An extra small would've fit but would've been more close to form and I like having room for a layer underneath. For reference I am 5'2"/114#/34B. It ties easily around my waist once I have warmed up on my run and is so light weight it does not bother me. Very happy with this purchase. Hope this helps!

So close, highly recommend for those with less curves.I loved the function of this, but unfortunately, the fit wasn't the best for my pear-shaped frame. The hips were too tight. :( [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

trail runner from
good jacket - not so warmI purchased to have a warmer layer under my waterproof layer for trail running.
Not this item. As a Smartwool addict - I thought I would get more warmth. The wool panels are only in the underarm area??? Would be a great lightweight running jacket for alone, but not for extra warmth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

If I follow the sizing chart will there be enough room to layer over fleece?
Asked by: Dori
Hi Dori, thanks for the question! This is a regular fit hoody, so it is intended that you would have at least one or two thin layers under, if you have a relatively thin fleece it may work. I hope this helps!
