Product Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very comfortable but longevity in question [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried many different brands and styles of shorts over the years, but have tended towards Sugoi in the past due to their durability and comfort for long rides. While these shorts have not disappointed in terms of comfort, their long term durability is questionable. I have worn these shorts only a handful of times and always washed them in a fine mesh bag for protection, yet I've already noticed multiple loose threads forming in different areas. Hopefully the seams will not start coming apart for a long time, but only time will tell. The extremely thin leg grippers also may be a problem in the future with more wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took care of my comfort issues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used these shorts on one ride so far but the chamois provided far greater relief of my old man comfort issues than any other brand I've tried. Other reviewers were correct in that they run small. Normally I wear a medium; I ordered a large and the fit was perfect. I think I've switched to Sugoi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different, But Good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A shade shorter than my other cycling shorts. Fabric feels a little different too, specifically around the leg openings. It's similar to a "raw" hem you might get on a nicer cycling jersey. However, my go to for longer rides due to the extra padding and high comfort level. Wouldn't make them my only cycling shorts, but certainly best ones for extended time in the saddle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Good Riding Shorts [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a really serious rider, but have been riding much more during the pandemic. My old pair of Sugois were pretty much shot. It’s been several years, and this is an improved model. I do eventually get some saddle soreness, but it takes a bit longer. It pretty much does what it’s supposed to. A bit pricey, but they do last,so I feel it’s a good investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great padding [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my hubby because I love the women's shortie version so much. He thinks they are great. He mentioned how comfortable they are. I have seen him wear them at least 4 times in the few weeks he has owned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the cushion [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rs pro seems to fit me good. I use them for long days in the saddle. 100,150 and a 210 with no issues.I've always liked the fit and the padding. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of road shorts. Run a little small so I ordered an xl, I am a 36 inch waist. Perfect fit and very comfortable. Take a while to dry; no dryer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Best! Christmas present for my husband. It’s the only short he wears. We both like Sugoi quality and products. We always hand dry our exercise wear and these last a long time

Are these actually shorts or do they go under another pair of shorts?

Asked by: Mykah
Hey there, thanks for your question. The Sugoi Men's RS Pro Shorts are designed to be worn on their own, however they are skin tight biking shorts and don't leave much to the imagination. The formula FX chamois provides incredible comfort and performance during long days in the saddle, but you be modest about strutting your stuff in the juice bar. I hope this helps!

Is the sizing true? I am a 33 waist but in others cycling shorts the legs are extremely tight and have forced me to buy xl

Asked by: Anonymous
Thanks for the question! I do not have any personal experience with this Short, but the feedback I have heard from our customers is that it does run small and to go up a size. I would give the XL a try and if it doesn't work out just let us know so that we can help facilitate a return :)
