Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water resistant, warm & stretchy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these for the first time on a long run outside in 40-degree temps and steady rain. These tights feel nearly as soft and stretchy as tights that don't have a water-resistant feature, yet do a great job at wicking away the rain. I will say, after some time out in the rain, my legs were still wet, but that was expected since these are *not* waterPROOF. The pocket on the side does fit awkwardly though / sticks out and I wish these were high-waisted. They also fit a little odd and the top (tight waistband, gave me a bit of a wedgie). Overall, I do recommend these for the water-resistant feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these two weeks ago to replace a pair of Sugoi fleece tights I’ve had for 10 years. They’re not quite as warm as the old pair but warm enough. Great fit, generous length (I’m 5’5”, 130 muscular lbs and bought medium). Didn’t know if I’d like the reflective mesh side panels but they’re not reflective in daylight and are actually kind of stylish, apparently. The pocket isn’t big enough to hold my iPhone 10X (which is too heavy anyway) but would hold a smaller phone and is great for Kleenex and keys. No problem laundering in washer. I’m still wearing the 10 yr old pair and hope these last as long. I use them for running, hiking, xc skiing, pickleball... A bit pricey out of pocket but worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really wanted to like these [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to purchase these, especially since some 20 degree weather is coming this week and I plan to wear them for running outdoors. When I tried them on, they felt great. I can tell they would be warm. I'm not sure how warm... but they are thick and soft and top notch in that department. The problem is the awkward phone pocket on the side. It puffed out at least a half inch. It made them look like I had been stretching the pocket out for months, and frankly, like the pants were cheap. Also, the crotch was a bit bunchy, which I'm worried would get worse over time. I am usually between a S and M and I ordered a S, so I don't think going down a size would help. For early morning runs, the aesthetics wouldn't matter. But I can't justify paying this much money for a pair of pants that I don't also feel comfortable running errands in, or just being in public in. So unfortunately, I have to return them and look an alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, not too long [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are warm, soft and stretchy. I’m 5’3” and the length could be 1/4” shorter but the zippers don’t bother my ankles in cycling boots. Ordered size small.
