On the fenceJust got these shoes to replace a pair of winter sneaker boots that I've had for almost 7 years. They are cute, but the other reviews are correct: the ankle portion of the boot, it's very very STIFF. I might even go as far to say the ankle portion is uncomfortable. It feels tight and it feels like it's rubbing in all of the wrong places-- and I have super skinny ankles. I think what would have really helped in the design is to line the ankle portion of the boot with a really fluffy soft material--like Sherpa. If it's going to be a hiking boot it might need that stiffness. But they should make a version that's just for wearing around town with a softer, more flexible ankle portion.

So cozyI got these a few weeks ago. I bought them to stay active in the rainy season and winter season. At first I was worried I made a big mistake when I was breaking them in. They hurt terribly... but after about a week they are the most comfortable hiking boots/shoes I've ever worn. I have gotten into the habit of wearing them every day. Great support for my knees. Only issue is they hit weird on the top of my ankles and that has been remedied by wearing thicker socks or loosening the laces a little bit but that compromises the snug fit of the shoe... But, over all, I'm happy about this purchase.

sporty bootI got the black color and I do like them. They are a bit more loose than expected but decent. The strings to tie are just way too thin. I will have to change them out as they don't feel secure without a double knot- which sucks to get undone when you want to take them off after walking or working all day. I will not lace the upper part around the ankle as it feels too restrictive being laced. I have thin ankles so its just design and fit. They are quite cute and can be worn with a multitude of outfits. I saw these and just kept wanting to get them. No regrets, just need to find some new laces.

Comfy, lightweight and warmReally like the fit and comfort of this shoe. My feet are short and wide and Teva comes through again with a roomy, comfy width, especially in the toe-box area. Fits well with a medium-thick sock and I can tell my feet will stay quite warm in these through the colder months. Also very light on the foot which I love! Gives me a little spring in my step. Only slight dislike, they feel a little tight around the top part of the ankle, but I think some wear and breaking in will make them more flexible and comfy. Not even really uncomfortable as is, just normal "boots need breaking-in" feeling to me. Still five stars.

Classy and ComfortableI do not like the feeling of my foot surrounded by hard leather, but I do need support. And, I'm vain enough to want a really good looking shoe. I'm so grateful to have found exactly what I need. I knew they were perfect the very first time I wore them, and I wear them for miles and miles of walking every day. They are supportive, good looking, and comfortable.

ImpressedOrdered this for a class with a heavy outdoors component during winter. Today I stomped around in the snow for hours, accidentally stepped in a big puddle, and my feet have been warm, dry, and fairly comfortable all day, no problems breaking in. I'm a size 10.5 and the 11 was too big, the 10 is comfortable.

Just what I wanted.I feel so cute when I wear these. They're stylish and sporty, my favorite combo. I walked over a mile in them the first time I wore them with no problems. I appreciate the ankle support, especially on icy sidewalks, and they are very comfortable. I wouldn't consider them true hiking boots, but they are adorable city boots! I wear a 7.5, so I ordered a size 7 and they fit beautifully with normal socks.

HOW to MEASURE If you are unsure which shoe size to purchase, please follow the below steps:
1. Trace the outline of each foot on a piece of paper.
2. In straight line from the middle of the heel to the longest toe, measure the length of each foot.
3. If one foot is longer than the other, take the larger measurement and compare to the chart on the next page. Foot length will determine your shoe size - round up or down to the closest size within 2mm.
