Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's warm and comfy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a fleece of any kind before this so felt like a peacock wearing it at first but it was a x-mas gift from my girlfriend so I wore it since she said it looks good. I found myself really loving it, it's soft and warm. I am normally an XL but I got this in an XXL and it has a nice looser fit to it but doesn't feel baggy. I find myself just throwing it on with nothing under and am always comfy and I get hot in it with to much under. I learned from GF that if you want it to last you have to wash and dry it only on cold and it will start to mat but if you use a brush it will look new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Many complements! Bought this originally in the women's version XXL and it is was too big and very wide. So I returned and bought the men's version for several reasons...1st, most importantly is men's version has a drawstring on the bottom to make it more comfortable women do not have this. I also like the black accents on the front and on elbows better than the green on the women's version. It is still large but I am using it like a warm coat over things! I walked outside with it and was impressed that the wind did not go threw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, warm, non technical piece [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very warm and comfortable hoody. Keep in mind this is in no way technical and I would never bring it out while doing any kind of exerting activity. This is strictly for staying cozy après and for lazy days around the house or around town. The fleece on this is thick and retro. One thing you must know, regardless of the quality, high pile fleece will become matted. There's no way of preventing it. The forearms and back will be hit the hardest. One trick to keeping the pile lofty is to brush it (I use a boar bristle). Yeah, it sounds silly, but it works very well. If you want your fleece to stay looking good, you will need to put in the work. When you clean it, use a technical wash, rinse twice, and skip the dryer altogether. Heat is fleeces enemy. Wash it using a special bag (search "guppyfriend"). Take care of your things and they'll take care of you. I've been using this fleece since it first came out a few years ago and it still looks great. If you have a pet, sorry. This will attract all the hair. Do yourself a favor and get a light color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color Not As Pictured Purchased cedar brown geo pattern. Elbow patches and front flap are navy and NOT brown as shown in photo. Would have preferred brown color as shown in photo. A star in rating approval deducted because of that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hoodie around [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the campshire hoodies. I've owned one for just over 2 years now. Not as fluffy as it once was but it survived a fire season and continues to be awesome. Little beat up these days. It does catch small sticks and leaves but never that bad. Ive always found and removed them. Definitely recommend these to friends when they ask. I have no doubt that mine will continue to keep me warm and comfortable for many more years to come. 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this hoodie! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this when it first came out years ago. We keep our house cool in winter so It's the first thing I put on when I get home from work after my shower and the first thing I put on when I wake up. It's also great outside on a cool day, If it's windy just put a shell over it. Just bought 2 more this year! I wish TNF made campshire pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from absolutely one of the best cold weather pieces out there i can wear this in 30 degree temps and only need a t shirt under it. it is surprisingly wind resistant as well. i can not wear this unless its in the 30's or colder because i will over heat. went to the bad lands and black hills in February to hike. i took a weeks worth of long sleeve cotton t shirts wore the campshire as my insulating mid layer then wore a harshell over it. temps were in the 20's winds on certain days were 30mph and i stayed plenty warm. great versatile piece.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks cheap and quite worn after one wash I bought this fleece in the tiger pattern after seeing it in a North Face store and feeling how amazingly soft it was. I'd never owned a North Face fleece before, so I decided to invest in this one, and I read about how to properly care for fleece before buying this. Unfortunately, after following the washing instructions to a T and letting it mostly air dry to avoid pilling, this thing looks like it's years old: You can see the white base layer underneath the formerly fluffy-now pilled-pattern on the shoulders, across the arms, around the pocket, and in other spots. It looks patchy, like it has bare spots, and cheap. As other reviewers mention, it's still warm and functional, though I'm not a fan of the velcro pocket flap, which rubs on my stomach and makes that area too warm. At this price point, I'd expect something that doesn't look so used after just one wash.
