Love Turned to Loathing - Great Potential Non-Durable DesignSuper stoked for these shoes to arrive. Ran them around the city and they felt great. With dry weather, I decided to wear them for the Berryman 50 miler. Run started out good but I was quickly feeling every rock in the front of my foot. The tongue of the shoe did not stay in place and my socks were showing. It wasn't before long that rocks were in my shoes. I stopped 4-5 times in the first 26 miles to remove rocks and reset the tongue of the shoe. Thankfully I had another pair of shoes for the 2nd loop and they performed incredibly well. I'm such a fan of Rob Krar and The North Face but these shoes really ruined my day and falling apart after 35 miles is simply unacceptable.

Quality IssuesShoe is light but quality is surprisingly bad! Second run and the shoe started falling apart! I returned the shoes to see if i just happened to get a faulty pair. I'll update later to see if it happens again

Poor qualityNot the quality and durability I've come to expect of TNF. These broke down way to fast and for over $100 there is no excuse. I got mine on Father's Day and have run some trails and some road to trail and you would have thought I use them as daily trainers. Rubber is pealing on heals.

Best shoes out there!!!!I use these shoes primarily for trail running. I have worn them on a few road runs as well though. They are incredibly comfortable, fit true to size. They breath very well and are so light! They feel amazing and allow for a true landing if your urn properly! So far, no negatives, still have not worn them enough to comment on durability, but holding up well with about 100 miles on them.

Love these shoesLove the shoes. I've put 30+ miles on mine so far. No premature wear issues, which was a concern based on prior reviews. Grip is good. Only con is the tongue isn't secured to the sides of the shoe. Usually shoeshave the sides stitched 1/2 way or 3/4the way up. This tongue is on stitched near the toes of your feet. Takes more time to put on the shoes and lay the tongue flat while leaving to avoid bunching. Has been more of a nuisance than anything else.

Comfortable but poor qualityThought these shoes were great, then all of the pads and glue came apart after a few uses. If the durability improves this would be a great shoe.

The best running shoeHands down the best running shoes TNF has ever made. These are super lightweight, extremely breathable, and surprisingly stylish.

Light and simpleLove love love. Light, flexible shoe that dries fast and is perfect for trail running. Minimal support, comfortable. they tend to wear out after about 150 miles though.
