Great Boots for Mid-West Weather! This product is great! I was looking for boots to wear in a state where there is pretty heavy snow in the winters. I am a women size 9 so I would usually be a men's size 7 but going since the other reviewers had said the boot would be one size too small, I got a size 8 and it fit perfectly! I have wide feet and it worked out perfectly too. I have enough room to wear thicker socks as well. The boots have a very nice thick lining and the grip on icy surfaces is amazing! I have never felt safer walking on the sidewalks after a snowy night. The boots are a little bulky so they do not look as stylish as some other boots but nonetheless, I go for practicality over style so it works for me. Also, I love the life time warranty North Face has for their products so I feel good spending the amount I did on these boots.

Great Boot. Strongly RecommendSo I ordered a size down as recommended and they were right. I have had these boots for a month now. I live in SE, Alaska and it rains almost every day. Snows in the winter, and muddy and wet most of the time. I have worn these hiking, hunting, and to work. They keep your feet really warm. They are super lightweight. The best thing is they slide on and off really easy, and for those of use with snow, mud and grime know how valuable that is going in and out of your house all day. I am going to order a pair for my wife as she really likes the way they look.

Not what I expectedRuns a full size too small. Not as pictured. The picture looks great with a contoured, tan, canvas-like upper. In person, the upper is more shiny gold than tan and is more like a nylon puffy coat than canvas. I would suggest looking at the photos of the grey version. That does show a pic from the rear where you can see how much the upper puffs out. I wish I had noticed that before purchasing. Return was easy.

Completely exceeds expectations.Really happy with this purchase. I read reviews and ordered one size larger than I normally wear. (Wear a size 10, ordered size 11.) Very functional and I can feel the difference in weight. These are a little lighter and love it. Perfect for Southwest Michigan winter. My friend saw mine and just ordered a pair.

MehOrdered the utility brown, size 10. Size was at least a half-size too small. Biggest problem is they look nothing like the picture. The upper is a very shiny gold color (where's the disco?). The upper is also weirdly puffy. It looks like you are wearing inflatable ankle cushions. It's very odd.

Hiked in iceland! VERY COLD Rain & Snow. Boots are amazingDidnt buy them for fashion, although stylish. I used them to Hike iceland's most harsh and beautiful sights. And may i say this country threw everything it had to offer. And i walked in them with ease. Love them and recommend them to anyone.

Camera operator in the snow from
Warm enough for a stroll but for work look elsewhere.I recently purchased a pair of Tsumoru Winter boots at a recommendation of a colleague. I work as a motion picture camera operator here in Toronto Ontario, Canada. We endure long hours on set sometimes in frigid temperatures. There is a need footwear that can withstand the harsh conditions. I was looking for something with a little more flexibility than a Sorel and the Tsumoru's seemed like a great option for my work. I was incredibly disappointed when shooting a feature film last month I couldn't go more than an hour without feeling like my toes were going to fall off. I ended up sticking hot pocket's in each boot toe to remedy the situation. The boots are definitely waterproof but I can't say they are very warm. Even in more mild temperatures in the -5 range the boots just didn't cut it. I personally think these boots are meant for casual hikes, shovelling snow or walking the dog but for long term use in serious winter conditions they are not. A little disappointed in the North Face brand with this boot. Over the years I have come to rely on the North Face brand on set but I can't in good conscience recommend this boot for work conditions.

best winter bootpurchased these in Japan over 3 years ago. I live in the Yukon so I like a good everyday boot for the winter. I use these in -5 to -30, super warm and comfortable. They slip on and off really well and they also look very nice.
