Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from MTP inner joints localized PAIN from inner shoe seam [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have wide feet (likely not a problem with narrower feet), the shoe will occasion pain at the inner metatarsophalangeal joint of each foot. There is a seam that is particularly sharp inside the shoe (on the inner side) which digs deeply into the joint and causes pain if your feet are wide (I am a black man). In my experience with wider feet the pain does not go away (thicker socks do not help). I used scissors and electronic wire cutting tools to get through a membrane and remove the offending (likely redundant) seams inside the shoe. So far so good. Still gave 5 stars because the shoes look great and I believe I fixed them. I would only recommend to a person with narrower feet than my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most light and comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing to have such light, comfy hiking shoes!!! My legs weren't sore after and 8 mile hike! I would definitely buy these babies again! Amazing traction and grip as well!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Excessive Wear BEWARE!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wear these shoes every day as part of business casual wear and light hiking. Owned 2.5 months and they're separating at the seams and the sole is excessively worn. Definitely disappointed as previous Ultra Fastpacks held up for years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality is not what you would expect from TNF. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only 3 months of use the seam came unglued. Would not recommend. The north face did not want to repair or replace.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Questionable Quality and Durability North Face was very kind to immediately offer a refund, but I'd be careful to purchase this shoe due questionable quality and durability. Just after a week of casually wearing the shoe in the city, (to break in the shoe before an actual hike) the sole started to peel off and the interior side inner lining edge showed some abnormal wear. I really wanted to love the shoe as it is very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Because I'm a letter carrier on my feet all day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a letter carrier on my feet all day, I like the comfort and the fact that they're waterproof. You all just need more colors to match different uniforms.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty comfortable but not at all waterproof [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most important info first: these are not waterproof. If you need something that won't soak through in the rain or when walking through a bit of water, DO NOT get these. They are pretty comfortable though and have otherwise held up fairly well. I got these back in March and have used them pretty regularly, mostly on dayhikes, but also a few multi-day backcountry backpacking trips. The shoes are comfortable and feel pretty good even after a full day of hiking with a pack on. They're just not waterproof. My brother got a pair shortly after I got mine (because they look pretty good for hiking shoes and were comfortable) and his are also soaking through anytime it rains or they touch water, so the issue isn't a one-off. I've sent mine in to their warranty department and expect to be given a refund, as it's my understanding that this is the issue with all the new Vectiv/Futurelight shoes.

HOW to MEASURE
If you are unsure which shoe size to purchase, please follow the below steps:

1. Trace the outline of each foot on a piece of paper.

2. In straight line from the middle of the heel to the longest toe, measure the length of each foot.

3. If one foot is longer than the other, take the larger measurement and compare to the chart on the next page. Foot length will determine your shoe size.
