The North Face Women's Aboutaday Pant is a protective pant for snowboarding. Street-style influence delivers a slim fit through the knee and widens out through the lower leg to offer coverage over snowboard boots. The gaiter at the cuff features gripper elastic to wrap the boot, preventing snow from sneaking its way inside as you shred the mountain. Reinforced edge guards hold up against wear and tear while the DryVent 2L fabric provides waterproof, breathable protection. A layer of 60g Heatseeker Eco insulation warms on bone-chilling days, while inner thigh vents can be opened to release excess heat when you're pushing hard.

The North Face DryVent
Dryvent™ fabrics are engineered to be fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. The outer face of the textile is treated with a durable water repellant finish that helps form droplets and repel water from the surface. Each multi layered textile is engineered to allow water vapor to pass through from the inside to the outside.
Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Amazing pants[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very warm, very comfortable. I am 5'6", 145 lbs, and made the mistake of getting Medium the first time. If you fit my profile, get Large. The Mediums "fit", but I was not able to bring my knee up to my body comfortably. The pants would pull and couldn't move my legs as much as I need to when skiing. The Large are a tad roomy in the waist, but this is easily remedied with a belt. These pants come with a belt loop (amazing). I can move very freely in these, lots of nice room in the legs. If you jump on a snowboard you will need room for that. The pattern on the floral print is amazing, so beautiful. LOVE!

Love my new wild print ski pants!Love the feel, print and weight of these ski pants! I'm 5'3" and got the short/large as I'm curvier and wanted to have a bit of extra room without the pants being baggy. I haven't tried them skiing yet, but just trying them on with and without longjohns they are very comfortable. I like the adjustable waist velcro straps on both sides which allows me to tighten the waist as needed. As a past longtime ski instructor I always taught in Northface pants and know they are durable and comfortable so I'm looking forward to skiing in these pants!

Best snowpants EVER!I can not believe I actually found snow pants that fit a curvy body. my hips aren't wide, but my legs are definitely thicker than average, and I was able to easily fit into a size XL (with ease!). I am obsessed. They are so beyond stylish, and they definitely warmer than my Columbia snow pants. The only issue I have is that they're a bit loose around my waist, but it comes with the territory, so I'll simply have them taken in. Overall, I am truly excited and am already planning my second purchase.

If you're a true XL with hips and a butt, try in store first[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the XL because I like the pink color so much on these, and took a chance knowing I may fail. I am normally a L/XL/14 in pants, and am 5'2" tall and 210lbs. I have a full butt and hips, as most of my weight is carried there. These barely fit on, and there is absolutely no way I can ski in these, or bend over. Material seemed great (as TNF usually is), and color was so pretty. Waiting on TNF to have more variety on bottoms sizing in general.

Love these pants![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants fit perfectly on my average 5'4" body. I purchased these in a size medium and wear a size 4-8 depending on how disciplined in my fitness and diet I am. Comfortable and keeps me warm and dry. I'm in CA so weather here is more temperate than other places and I do wear with a merino wool base layer because I love to be warm and these pants have kept me perfectly dry and warm since I received these in December. I in fact bought a second pair as I love how they fit and how stylish I feel in them.

Confusing sizing[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually a size 10-12 in jeans, so I purchased a Large. I figured that would fit comfortably without being too baggy or too tight. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They were too snug around the waist, thigh, and bum area with just a thin base layer. I maybe could have made the large work, but I didn't like how my movement was restricted and worried I'd split them open if I fell. So, I sized up to an XL short thinking that would be the perfect fit. Wrong again! The XL is too loose around the waist even with adjusting the Velcro as far as it will go. They are also very baggy in the bum/thigh area. I'll most likely have to wear a belt or suspenders to keep them from sagging. The length is also pretty ridiculous. I'm short, (5'0") so I'm used to "regular" length things being WAY too long and short length things being just slightly too long. The short fits like a regular, in my opinion. I have to cuff them in order to keep myself from stepping on them. I'm begrudgingly keeping the XL short because I can at least wear additional layers if I want to... it would just be nice to not look like a small child who is borrowing her mother's snow gear.

The North Face, please stand by your return policy[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved the print, the construction and feel of this snow pant. Unfortunately, the sizing was way too large, so I returned them. I had ordered a small, tall per size chart, but the waist was so big. The size I need (xs tall) is currently out of stock. I returned the pant the day after receiving them. It is now going on 6 weeks and still no word on refund. I've called and was assured a refund would be process, but still waiting. So, come on The North Face at least a confirmation email would be nice :(
