Rated 5 out of 5 by from I now call this my "magic jacket" I wore this jacket for the Boston Marathon and am confident it was key to finishing strong. I am a slow runner, and when the weather moved from rain-- hot sun -- rain -- intense wind-- sun throughout my run, many runners needed assistance, but I was fortunate not to be one of them. This jacket is SO soft compared to other expensive outdoor brands-- you won't feel like you are wearing crunchy plastic! This is much more like a microfiber feel. The stretch is key to keeping it tied around your waist (if you need to!) and the inner lining would never chafe. I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase. It is the best rain gear ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket! This is the perfect daily jacket for the fall/spring. Its not lined, but it is surprisingly warm, since it cuts most of the wind. I love that it is stretchy, so it feels like a second skin, and is soft and doesn't make the crinkly sound a lot of waterproof jackets make. I'm thinking about getting a second one to use for getting dirty and riding horses, but my only concern is that the fabric is on the thinner side, so I'm not sure whether it would hold up to getting caught on saddles and getting against rough surfaces. It is 100% great for wearing to work and wearing around town though!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love LOVE I wore this on a backpacking trip through Europe and was so happy I brought it. I usually wear a small in Jackets, but I got a medium in this one and it was perfect because I could wear my base layers underneath without it looking too tight. I love the big pockets and the feminine fit. This is not completely waterproof but it did the job for changeable weather in Scotland and Switzerland. The best part is that it is like a hardshell jacket but with the benefit of being flexible. Also, it isn't loud material like so many other rain jackets I have owned. Very happy with this purchase and if you're in the market for an affordable rain jacket, I 10/10 recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in so many ways [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat has been awesome. I've layered it for hiking in the snow, cross country skiing and winter running. The stretch is awesome and doesn't crinkle, pinch or make noise. If I get too warm (holds in heat well) it's pliable and light enough to tie around my waist or fold into my hip pack. I usually wear a small but tried both and kept the medium as it was just a little tight in my arms and shoulders and I wouldn't have been comfortable layering. The stretch could accommodate but I wanted a little more room. Much happier with this coat than I thought I would be. My mother in law got it too and also went one size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best rain jacket and flattering fit! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the Allproof Stretch Jacket in Gardenia white and size XL and the jacket is so nice! The fit is very flattering even in white! The material is not like the Resolve 2 or Venture 2 jackets with that noisy material (I previously had a Resolve 2 jacket). That was important to me as well as breathability. This jacket has all of that and I love throwing it on over a sweatshirt in mild 50 degree rainy weather. I did have to go up in size, my usual North Face size is Large and I got the XL since this is a slim fit jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great light jacket to layer or just to cut the breeze. I usually order a medium or large in north face jackets and coats. I tried this on at the outlet store and prefer the large. For reference I am 5'5", 135 pounds. The medium definitely fit but I preferred it to be a little longer to cover my backside when wearing leggings. The large fits great and would still be comfortable to layer over top another jacket if needed. Love the green color. This is a great buy and I would love to have another one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not super waterproof [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just returned from 2 weeks in Ireland. While it rained most days, we went out walking and hiking every day. This jacket might repel light rain for a little while, but in ongoing rain, the water just started seeping in-- soaking right through the jacket. It's a nice looking jacket and comfortable, but I would describe it as water-resistant rather than waterproof, for sure. It's not going to keep you dry in the wettest conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect rain jacket for exercise! So soft! I was looking for a rain jacket that would be breathable and comfortable for longer hikes in the rain. I've worn other rain jackets in the past from North Face, Columbia, and Arcteryxx. What I LOOOVE about this jacket is that it's super soft and doesn't make the crumpling sound with movements like other jackets do! It's also super lightweight and breathes well. Probably the best rain jacket for outdoor activity that I've encountered. Would definitely buy again!
