It's lightweight and breathable, making it a great non-bulky option for active women who need something that won't choke them in their own body heat if the sun comes out to warm things up. Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from N I C E [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw this in a store and loved it. It's so light and warm. True to size. I'm 5'8, 140 and purchased my usual NF size, medium in black. There is a black NF logo on the back of the left shoulder but no other logos on the jacket. Hood does not come off. The material is soft and comfortable and not loud when you move.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor fit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other North Face jackets that I love and that fit -- all in large. I am 5-7 and 165 lbs. This jacket was way too large in the shoulders and just sort of saggy-looking overall. I'm 52, I have plenty of my own sagging, I don't need more from a jacket. I loved the color, though, but still, I had to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cozy! This jacket is super cozy and stylish. The jacket is a deep blue as pictured and keeps me nice and warm during walks. It is a little bit wide on the bottom hem portion but nothing to complain about.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blue doesn't match photo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket a little over 2 years ago and ended up keeping it but probably should have returned it. It's been handy for travel in spring/fall, but I consider it too delicate for rough & tumble outdoor activities. Positives: - I like the high-tech styling and good construction. I sometimes grab it for a mid-weight fall & spring jacket for city wear, plane travel, or walks where I'm not going to get too dirty. It's cozy and comfortable. - Good travel option because it's lightweight, packs well, and adapts to a range of temperatures. Negatives: - I was disappointed in the color, which doesn't match the photo as rendered on my computer. I was expecting a really intense, saturated blue with green undertones, at the blue end of the teal family. The actual color is closer to the traditional navy family, dark blue with black undertones. -The fit runs large. I tend to buy either S or M in TNF jackets (and I should mention, I'm a huge fan of The North Face jackets & coats). I went with M so I could use it as an outer layer, but this size seems very boxy and unflattering, to where I feel a bit frumpy wearing it. If you are on the fence between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. - The fabric on the lower arm and lower torso has not held up well to wear, developing fine pills pretty early on. It's not a jacket I'd throw on for most of my outdoor activities (gardening, yard work, back woods hikes, etc.). Disappointing durability for this price point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Pockets [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the deep blue color. The top torso is very thinly insulated while the bottom has lots of down. Big big pockets. Not convinced that it will be warm enough

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I wanted something warm that I could wear layers with. This works beautifully. I purchased a Medium so I'd have a little room for a sweater or sweatshirt inside and a shirt underneath. It's warm, has deep pockets, and the perfect size hood. It also works well in windy conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I did not keep it though, I needed more of a parka. Would have loved to have kept both

HOW to MEASURE
CHEST / BUST: Measure the total circumference of your chest at its fullest point. Ensure that the tape is horizontal when measuring.

WAIST: Place your hands on your hips and bend to the side. The indent on your side as you bend is your natural waist. Measure the total circumference at this point.

HIPS: Stand with your feet 6" apart. Measure the total circumference at the fullest point of your hip.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your elbow slightly bent, starting at your middle neck bone, measure to the point of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone. Or take a shirt that fits well and take the same measurement.

FIT TYPES
SLIM FIT: Has a close-to-body fit with fair range-of-motion. Jackets are shaped at the waist with moderate body contouring. Can be worn over base layers or light mid-layers.

STANDARD FIT: Fits true-to-size for easy, comfortable movement. Can either have slight body shaping or a straight fit without the shaping. Can be worn over mid-layers.

RELAXED FIT: Has a loose-to-oversize fit, with no shaping, and hangs away from the body. The shoulder may drop below the natural shoulder. Can be worn over heavy mid-layers.
