Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay jacket, buy a different brand Warm jacket and very stylish. However, it's not worth the purchase. I've noticed the this jacket's material is MUCH less durable compared to the material of the similar style jackets from other brands (e.i. Patagonia). I got this jacket last Christmas, but didn't wear it much until this year. Feathers come out EVERYWHERE, I already have two holes in it, and there are strings sticking out from stitching that is loose in many places. This is all from very gentle use. If I'm planning on doing any sort of activity besides walking to and from my car for work I make sure I put on something else yet my jacket is still a mess. I really wanted to love it, but it's too cheaply made.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What has happened to North Face??? I bought what I thought was the same jacket I'd purchased about two years ago. I needed to replace the old one because I had slightly ripped the shell and it wasn't repairable. . I was so surprised by the poor construction of the new jacket. Zippers that are plastic and don't zip well (the old jacket has real metal zippers), no vertical snaps. hood isn't detachable, pockets aren't lined. (The old jacket has those last three features.). The jacket two years ago was much higher quality. I could get used to it all but the zippers truly make this jacket a very cheap and frustrating product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cozy To be honest I wasn't sure about the puckering on the sides of this coat. But my friends all said it was pretty and flattering, and I really needed it this winter on my way to work in downtown buffalo because in the AM it is like the arctic. The coat is in general more figure grabbing than others on the website, and I'm not totally sure if I'll continue to want it to make me look like such a marshmallow queen. I will be on the lookout for a more subtle style in the future, although it does look cute, and the quilting is in classic squares. When I unzip it it looks a little bit strange, but I will mostly be wearing it closed. Length is JUST RIGHT. (5'6, 115 lbs)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but with a couple issues... I first purchased this coat in Navy, but returned it because I didn't like the color at all. I now have the Blue Frost, which is GORGEOUS. I've already gotten several compliments on the jacket and I just love that it's different than your standard blue, black, or white. The only issue I'm having is that if I wash my hands while I'm out and wearing the jacket, if the ends of the sleeves get the slightest bit wet you can see a dark stain where the water was... even after it dries. I don't know if it's the iridescent color of the jacket, or is this happens to all of them, but water should NOT stain a water resistant jacket.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Definitely should not be rated at the "warmest" level! I purchased this jacket because it was rated as a "warmest" level on North Face. Unfortunately, I wore it one time on a 40 degree day and was FREEZING. I live in Minnesota and am used to the cold. This jacket performed worse than much more inexpensive jackets I've worn. It is barely warm enough for a MN fall and will never work in a MN winter. Now I am stuck with a jacket that doesn't work and I am unable to return even though it is in perfect condition. Terrible customer service and a jacket that doesn't hold up to what was promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket This was given to me as a gift by my awesome bff, and it has instantly become my favourite winter jacket. It's super comfortable, very durable, warm and looks great (on me). The couple of negative reviews on this jacket are frankly quite ridiculous. People rated the coat 1 star or 2 stars because they don't have the coat in their size, they felt the colour didn't suit them, or the sleeves were too long for their arms? That's not at all an issue with the quality of the coat, merely their personal opinion. If you try on a coat and decide you don't like how it looks or feels, it doesn't make it a bad coat. It's like a 7 foot 300 pound man trying to fit into a small compact car and giving it a 1 rating because he wasn't comfortable in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute winter staple! I wear this jacket to the office, errand running, to the gym, etc. Great staple to have in the winter. I'm 5' 0" and the sleeve length hits me at the perfect spot on my wrist and the length of the jacket hits me in the leg at the preferred length, but I could see that people who are taller might think the sleeves are a little short or the length might hit them a little higher than they'd prefer. Also, make note that the waist is tapered in a bit which gives a different shape than a jacket built straight down. It almost looks like you're wearing a belt because the fabric gathers in a bit, but I think it's a cute twist on a classic down jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This coat is so cute, I attached photos to show how the iridescent color really looks and it looks different from the photos but I think it's still really cute and stands out! If 5'6, and about 250 pounds, I bought XXXL and it fits perfect and isn't too tight even with wearing a sweat shirt underneath. If you're thinking about buying this coat but you're not too sure about it, just do it.

I am 5 feet tall. Weigh 150 lbs.  broard shoulders.  Busy 36d. What size north face should I buy?

Asked by: Pepe
Hey, Pepe Would be good to know your hip size too, but my knee jerk reaction is to suggest a medium. A large might be just a touch too boxy / bulky.
