Rated 1 out of 5 by from For such an expensive coat, it was made horribly cheap This jacket was incredibly expensive, so I assumed I was going to get a really high quality item...I was wrong. The first time I put it on, the zipper unzipped itself all the way up to where I had it closed. I fixed it, and then later that day it did it again. Not only that, the collar is so high its really kinda awkward if you don't have it zipped up, it just flares out. Lastly, my coat was hemorrhaging goose down, not the expected amount here and there, the hole was so big that if I pulled it out, a HUGE clump just came up ready to be pulled out. It was really horrific for how much money I paid I sent it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I got to try this out a little earlier than I thought I would, so I'm really glad I got mine while it was still warm out! It's been in the 30's and 40's the last two days here in Philadelphia and this jacket is GREAT! I questioned it at first since it really was so lightweight. I was used to a heavy, thick jacket weighing me down. This one is light, I can move, and most importantly, I stay warm. I'm usually a small or extra small in everything but had to size up for this to a medium. It's my first NF purchase, so I wasn't sure of the sizing. Website told me to go with a small, but that wasn't the best option for me. Returning was simple and quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Purchase! I haven't had the coat long but I must say I am really happy with it so far. It looks expensive and well worth the price. The fur on the hood is lovely however I wish the hood was slightly larger as it can be restricting with certain hairstyles. I haven't worn this coat in extreme weathers but so far I have been extremely warm and sometimes hot when wearing it, I also wore on the plain which can get quite cold and I was sweating. I ordered a small which fits well, I usually order an XS so I recommend ordering a size up. It also soaks up light rain well and doesn't get soaked, I'm not sure how it will do in extreme wet conditions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh It's a nice coat. It doesn't feel like it would be substantial enough for northern Wisconsin weather like my Columbia coat I am replacing. I have a veeeerrrry hard time getting sleeves long enough - if you relate to this, you'll know - so I don't recommend it for tall women. In my pic, the sleeves look long enough but as soon as I raise my arm they are half way to my elbow. Also, the shoulders were quite tight in the coat that the size estimator suggested. For reference, I am 5'11" and I got a size medium. It sucks that this coat didn't work out because I really want an olive coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my coat I bought this coat for myself, and it is so warm in our weird Missouri weather! I have not tested in wet weather yet, but it feels nice in the cold and wind! I ordered a size bigger just because I layer my clothes. It's very comfy and light weight. And to the people commenting saying the coat color don't match the picture... it's a picture, it's going to look different than the real thing, just like you do in selfies lol. But I ordered the green and it's pretty spot on

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best purchase of the season. I didn't think I would need a parka jacket but unfortunately all of my classes this semester are late at night and it gets as cold as 0 degrees. There were nights I had to stand in the cold for up to 30 minutes while waiting for the campus bus. I finally decided to invest in a parka from northface and it keep me so warm! The find my size survey is very inaccurate... It said I needed an XXL and I was doubtful so I ordered the XL instead and it was still too big for me. I exchanged for a L and it fits nicely everywhere except the bust area is a little tight. I kept the L instead because my friend said the XL looked too big it was unflattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket This wonderfully, lightweight jacket is both warm and extremely comfortable. I have worn it hiking as well as running errands. It's a great winter jacket in the car, because, while warm, I do not feel like I am trying to drive while stuffed into a bulky down pillow, as happens with many jackets. The jacket is stylishly cut, again avoiding that big, bulky look. It is important to note that the jacket has a slim cut. While I am normally a medium, I had to exchange the medium for a large. Other than that, it is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice coat, strange contour... This is a nice, cute, warm coat, not too long, but covers your hips and waist so you're warm enough, and is very comfortable. I have two issues that will likely result in my returning it. First, there is a contoured type "cinch" in the waist line that gives an hourglass effect to the body shape. This exaggerates the curves of the hips and butt, which for someone like me who already has these curves, is not a plus. I feel like it makes me look hippier than I am. This could be a plus for some figures but not mine. Secondly, my last NF coat had the snap covers over the zipper which I liked, and I didn't realize this one didn't have that when I bought it. Not a deal breaker, but since I'm taking it back anyway I will look for that detail on whatever I buy.

How is the Gotham NF 438W women’s puffer jacket different from the Gotham II model?

Asked by: Lorisammil
Hey, I would love to help you out, but I am not sure what a Gotham NF 438W is! Was that some specialized / limited edition released for a specific event or something? Did you mean something else?
