The North Face Women's ThermoBall Eco Triclimate Parka is a combination jacket for versatility through the cold season. A durable, waterproof shell zips together with an insulated liner and each can be worn separately depending on the weather. The two pieces fall just past the hip for coverage when exploring the city or walking the local park. The DryVent 2.5L outer piece protects against wind, rain and snow. The inner layer uses ThermoBall Eco insulation to warm, even if it gets wet. Wet, dry or bitterly cold, these two have you covered this winter.

DWR tech

Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it - like three jackets in one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a lighter version of my big north face puffy coat, and this is that and so much more. The outer and inner layers can be worn together for max warmth and rain protection, or worn separately. The lining is a great light puffer, and surprisingly warm. The outer layer allows me to have a raincoat for warmer rainy days. I combine them for those miserable cold rainy days when I'm walking the dog. I'm tall so I don't love short rain jackets - this one is a great mid-thigh length. Pricey like all north face, but considering it's basically three jackets in one, totally worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product is exactly what I was expecting [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm, lightweight double layers easy to connect, good zippers, giant pockets that makes this woman swoon, long enough to keep my rear warm. They say you lose a lot of heat through your head if it isn't covered but I say it's actually the rear. I'm 5'7" and newly 190 lbs so I needed a jacket that my powerful body could fit into. I ordered an XL - it's a bit big on me but that works because I can wear a sweater underneath, tuck in my scarf, maybe sneak in snacks to the movie theatre, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The North Face for my wife makes a happy life for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this review on behalf of my wife, Marcy, for whom I bought the jacket. Marcy loves The North Face products. Her Nuptse is her go-to-cold-weather jacket. And I believe the new ThermoBall will be her go-to-rainy-snowy-cold-weather jacket. Marcy says it's really warm and comfortable; and she looks great in it. For me, it's easy: I love my wife and she loves The North Face. So, happy wife in The North Face means happy life for me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not waterproof- don't buy. Sad [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have always bought and counted on NorthFace- don't know why the quality is so bad. This expensive "waterproof " jacket was not waterproof- the water didn't come into the jacket to me , but the jacket soaked up the water and was a soggy mess- could not take it into the house dripping, and took forever to dry. Couldn't just put it back on and go out again. What's up?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my best purchases [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my everyday winter jacket. It was -19 and I felt pretty good for short times I was outside. 0 I was able to stay outside a lot longer and felt pretty warm still. The length helps keep the wind out keeping me all over warmer. 15 degrees I don't need a hoodie or a long sleeve shirt on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again and again [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits well, love the ability to get 3 different jackets. Water proof works well. Warmth is great. Still have enough room for a bulky sweater underneath. Already washed the outer shell once because it smelled from food and that turned out fine too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Parka...more like ParkYay! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect amount of warmth for those of us that don't live where it gets really frigid. I wore this when it was in the teens here and it get me very comfy without layering underneath. The jacket is sleek and not bulky, which made it perfect for wearing while riding my scooter. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm concerned about the zipper holding up. It doesn't seem very sturdy and often feels like it is going to get stuck. Keeping my fingers crossed that it holds up because I love this parka

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish every coat was like this! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite coat of all time! It's awesome how one warm coat can become two separate coats. The puffy inner coat is a lot lighter on its own, and the outer coat is more of a rain coat/windbreaker.

HOW to MEASURE
CHEST / BUST: Measure the total circumference of your chest at its fullest point. Ensure that the tape is horizontal when measuring.

WAIST: Place your hands on your hips and bend to the side. The indent on your side as you bend is your natural waist. Measure the total circumference at this point.

HIPS: Stand with your feet 6" apart. Measure the total circumference at the fullest point of your hip.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your elbow slightly bent, starting at your middle neck bone, measure to the point of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone. Or take a shirt that fits well and take the same measurement.

FIT TYPES
SLIM FIT: Has a close-to-body fit with fair range-of-motion. Jackets are shaped at the waist with moderate body contouring. Can be worn over base layers or light mid-layers.

STANDARD FIT: Fits true-to-size for easy, comfortable movement. Can either have slight body shaping or a straight fit without the shaping. Can be worn over mid-layers.

RELAXED FIT: Has a loose-to-oversize fit, with no shaping, and hangs away from the body. The shoulder may drop below the natural shoulder. Can be worn over heavy mid-layers.
