The North Face Women's Triple C Parka is a really long jacket for really long winters. With this sort of length, I can only assume the C stands for coverage. Triple Coverage. In any case, it's plenty full of 550 fill down insulation, which keeps the jacket lightweight while also delivering plenty of heat. Walk the city, whether you're off to work or just enjoying the day in this toasty option.

Product Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not warm when temps dip under mid 20's. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is roomy, I sized down one size but probably could have sized down another. I'm a slightly disappointed because this coat is not very warm for mid 20's and below. I spend about an hour walking my dog outside everyday. I was hoping for a jacket that I could throw on to keep me warm while walking but I can feel the cold seep in through the top of the shoulders and the arms. This jacket is very light weight and comfortable but seems to be almost more like a mid layer vs a stand alone jacket. It's seems over priced for a coat that needs a second jacket under it to be warm enough....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would but again only on sale [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luckily I read the reviews before buying it- and I'm so glad I did! I'm usually a L but bought the S and it could not have fit better. So yeah, the sizing is WAY off on this one, but if you buy it two sizes smaller you will get a fantastic, warm jacket that goes down to your knees! Zippers are solid, hood has adjustable elastics and it fits wide hips well (it's not too narrow, no overstretched fabric over my hips). The only other downside is the sleeves could be a touch longer/elasticized/fitted so as not to let cold air in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hood flew off on rollercoaster! But still love the coat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this coat and it keeps me warm. I have had for a couple weeks and I wear it all the time!! However, I had to take away a star.... First, for the filling that pokes through, sometimes it hurts with sharp feathers! Second...NF please do away with snaps on the hoods. When I wore my cross body purse, if I took off purse, hood came off with it. But doesn't matter anymore, I was on a roller coaster and the hood flew off!! It was funny and honestly, the snaps were are bad, now I never have to worry about the hood anymore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't wait- get this coat now! Like right now! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat was on my wish list for a while. Finally I decided to just get it. The thought of another Rochester NY winter with an ill-equipped coat sent shivers down my spine. Literally. So - here's the deal with the coat.... It's awesome. However- size down a size - she's - big one. Also- I am 4'10" and the coat falls just above my feet. It will work out with boots etc- but if you are shorter than me (nearly impossible I know), you will have issues. Overall I love and I am ready to take on the storms!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy & Warm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As everyone states this coat does run huge. I diet ordered a medium then small in the mew khaki (army green) color and could honestly go down to an extra small but I'm 5'9 and worry about the sleeve length (not to mention it's sold out). I don't mind a looser fit to allow layering. It's very warm and super comfy. I live in Denver where the winters aren't terrible - it's been great for walking my dogs. I wear it in anything below 50, it's quite versatile. It's also great when you head up to the mountains and keeps you nice and toasty in colder more sever weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women's Triple C Parka [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. It is oversized like the other reviews state, but that's one of my favorite things about it. If you live in a city like I do, and walk around a bunch, its amazing because you can wear a big sweater underneath and be plenty warm. My boyfriend calls it "my sleeping bag coat" because I told him it's like wearing a comfy sleeping bag in public. I'm usually a medium or a large in TNF products, and i bought this in a Medium, no matter what size you wear you probably want to size down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would but it again with a few changes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great jacket but there are two things I would change and is the reason I only gave it 3 stars. One is I wish it was a little longer. The second is the hood is constantly coming unbuttoned it is extremely annoying. I wish it would be more secure. I am having to reattach the hood multiple times when I wear it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE the length; base layering for added warmth though... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be wearing this coat for everything, daily. I love the fit (I'm slender build) but would love more warmth but I'm adding some base layering. I LOVE the North Face for everything :) Kind regards.

HOW to MEASURE
CHEST / BUST: Measure the total circumference of your chest at its fullest point. Ensure that the tape is horizontal when measuring.

WAIST: Place your hands on your hips and bend to the side. The indent on your side as you bend is your natural waist. Measure the total circumference at this point.

HIPS: Stand with your feet 6" apart. Measure the total circumference at the fullest point of your hip.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your elbow slightly bent, starting at your middle neck bone, measure to the point of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone. Or take a shirt that fits well and take the same measurement.

FIT TYPES
SLIM FIT: Has a close-to-body fit with fair range-of-motion. Jackets are shaped at the waist with moderate body contouring. Can be worn over base layers or light mid-layers.

STANDARD FIT: Fits true-to-size for easy, comfortable movement. Can either have slight body shaping or a straight fit without the shaping. Can be worn over mid-layers.

RELAXED FIT: Has a loose-to-oversize fit, with no shaping, and hangs away from the body. The shoulder may drop below the natural shoulder. Can be worn over heavy mid-layers.
