Product Reviews
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality, soles wore out fast! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only two months tape seam started to come apart, and after only 1 year of wearing shoes hiking the soles has worn out enough that thread is not grilling on trails anymore & have to purchase new hiking shoes, will try Salomon's this next time. I believe shoes should last more than just one year (I only wear these shoes in summer and fall when I can hike) for a show that is almost $200 durability and its quality should last more than this, as well as for environment & having to dispose shoes within a year. It's unfortunate I would expect better quality from NF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cushy and stable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only tried these on at home but am keeping them. I have a narrow heel and low volume at the front of my foot. I was concerned from picture that the back would catch on my achilies tendon but not at all - it is lower than some shoes I have that have a cut out there. The toe box has a little too much volume for me but that seems to be the case with most shoes. Th ankle bone cutouts work on my skinny ankles and sticky out ankle bones. They are more cushioned than previous trail runners I have owned and am curious how that will feel on the trail. They do run smaller than, for instance salomon, so if you like having toe nails think about sizing up. TNF had a fit guarantee what I bought them so this was a bonus as there were so few reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased another pair for next winter's adventures. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these for almost everything. Walking, gym cardio, and of course hiking. They are indeed waterproof -- feet stayed dry and warm during hikes in snowy in New Mexico mountains. I purchased another pair for next winter's adventures. I won't be wearing these during the hot TX summer as they keep the toes rather toasty as they are well padded. (The tongue is a bit too padded in my opinion.) I usually wear a size 8.5 but took advice of others and went to a 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe and comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought several pairs of shoes with me on a trip to Yellowstone, but these were the only ones I wore. They kept me safe and comfortable on pavement and dirt, uphills and down, day after day. Even on advanced hiking trails, when other people were struggling with the descent, these made me feel secure. I wear an 8 in street shoes, but these were perfect in a 9, which kept my toes from jamming when I went down extreme slopes. No blisters, no sore spots, and the white color has held up surprisingly well. My only complaint would be that my feet do eventually sweat in them. That's to be expected in a waterproof shoe, though. I will be returning the backup shoes I bought. I never needed them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Renaissance Shoes-They Do it All! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very versatile and comfortable and they look good too! I can see myself bringing these shoes and no other shoes on a trip. They are water resistant -so they work as boots-and they are workout shoes and they look decent enough to wear in any situation in which it's okay to wear sneakers which is pretty much every situation I'm involved in these days. Great shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled with these shoes!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On April 18, 2021, I hiked the Grand Canyon. Prior to the hike, I was shopping for a new pair of hiking shoes since my current hiking shoes rub and give me blisters. (My feet and ankles are boney which required that I use mole skin on 3-4 areas of EACH foot). My sister purchased a pair of the Women's Vectiv Exploris FUTURELIGHT and sent me and a friend the link to the website. I purchased the same model in the blue and grey. My friend purchased the North Face trail running shoes. I hiked a 6-mile rocky trail prior to the Grand Canyon to test the shoes out. Then I hiked the Grand Canyon (down South Kiabab and up Bright Angel (20 miles). We were on our feet for 13 hours. THESE SHOES WORKED PERFECTLY!!! Not one (1) blister or hot spot!!! (and NO MOLE SKIN!!) The shoes are cut low enough around the ankle bone and the cushion is AMAZING!!! My feet felt great then entire hike - did I mention it was 20 miles?! As a matter of fact, all three (3) of us hikers wore our new North Face shoes and not one of us ended up with a blister. We were all impressed with the comfort. The stability of the shoe is excellent. The soles climbed over rocky trails with no problem. The shoe is true to size. As recommend, I always purchase a half size larger than street shoes for hiking and running shoes. It worked out perfectly. NOT having any shoe or feet issues allowed us focus on the hike and enjoy the epic beauty of the Grand Canyon. I can honestly say that Vectiv Exploris FUTURELIGHT is the absolute BEST hiking shoe I've ever worn!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would not buy this shoe again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take one long hiking trip a year and multiple shorter hikes/walks each week in local parks and state parks. I bought these shoes about a month before a week-long trip to NM. I broke them in and then wore them on the trip. At first they felt great and I was as pleased with them as I was with the pair I purchased in 2019. However, on the trip and in the weeks following my trip, I noticed that my feet were hurting. I was developing a bunion on one foot and I couldn't figure out what was causing it. I attributed it to increased walking or wearing normal shoes again (post covid work wear). I also noticed that the waterproofing seal was starting to come apart a tiny bit on one shoe and the fabric was also developing holes at the heels. This is when I went back to the store and found out there was a limited 1 year warranty. The waterproof seal and holes were fixed. However, in the weeks they were away being fixed, I reverted back to wearing my old hiking shoes and my bunion/foot ache went completely away. The red inflamed area on that foot/toe bone was gone and I didn't have foot pain after hiking. I compared the design on this shoe to my old ones and realized the toe box/plastic seaming around the laces is a completely different shape and it's the shape and the inflexible hard plastic seaming that was causing inflammation on my bone. So, although I have a new pair of hiking shoes back, I won't be wearing them again. I wish they'd bring back the design of the 2019 shoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never got a refund [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent them back due to them being too large and never got a refund. It was a seemingly easy process that I did two weeks ago, with the label they sent, original boxes and trip to the post office. The only problem is I don't have a refund or even store credit!

HOW to MEASURE
If you are unsure which shoe size to purchase, please follow the below steps:

1. Trace the outline of each foot on a piece of paper.

2. In straight line from the middle of the heel to the longest toe, measure the length of each foot.

3. If one foot is longer than the other, take the larger measurement and compare to the chart on the next page. Foot length will determine your shoe size.
