Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice shoes and very light weight [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a comfortable pair of trainers that were also sober in colour so I gave these a try and they're definitely comfortable. The only issue I have is that they rub in the back so I'll have to wear them with socks that cover the very back of the highest part of my heel. I believe they'll become more supple. What I like is that they go on nearly like socks so you don't have a tongue that moves around. They're also extremely light weight. I'm not a runner or hiker but I like to be comfortable when I run errands and these propel me forward so I feel like I'm power walking :)

Good cushioning for foot injury/recovery [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have torn my achilles tendon twice in 4 months, and had to have surgery. I needed shoes that would not make me recovery any more painful that it already was. These are the shoes. I have to stand on concrete floors for 6-8 hours a day. I am not going to say that these are miracle shoes and I feel no pain, but I will say my pain has been alleviated by 80% compared to my other tennis shoes. The only thing I do not like is that they have a intergraded tongue. It is not for me, but I am sure it is awesome for others. Just hurts my tendon since I have to slip the shoe on more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We are obsessed with Vectiv soles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased two pair of these after trying them on in store. They fit true to size. I wear 7 1/2 in a shoe and that size in the shoe fit well. Husband bought Hiking boot in his usual size and it worked for him with a narrower foot, longer second toe and thick socks. I will buy an 8 in the boot to wear with thick socks. We used these on a day hike with light rain on rocky terrain. They performed very well, great traction. We plan on buying two more pairs so we each have a boot and shoe with this sole. TNF made us loyal customers after working with us on a issue we had after purchase as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this shoe to wear as a stylish sneaker but I have actually done a ton of hiking in these this summer including my first backpacking trip (30 miles). I did not have any discomfort at all. These shoes are very supportive and comfortable walking all day in the city or out in the woods. The only drawback is that the lip on the heels rub my ankle if I wear low socks.

I bought them for a 2-month trip to Rwanda and wore them almost every single day in total comfort. I wore them for very long walks through desert climate as well as hikes in the hills. Often times they'd get COVERED in red dirt and dust, but it came out entirely washing by hand! If I were to have any complaint it would be that sometimes the fabric just above the heel cushions sometimes curls a bit and digs into my ankles but nothing so horrible. I later brought these sneakers for a 3-month trip to Europe and they were great for hiking in the alps and for walking through hilly cities. I highly recommend!

The arch support is amazing and it takes all the stress off the balls and heels of your foot. People complain that it rubs in the back and it does, but I get the low socks with a tab in the back and problem is gone. No rubbing at all! Definitely need to purchase for the most comfortable sneakers to walk for miles!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great look and cushion, bad fit in the heel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great style, but terrible fit in the heel/tendon area. The product photos don't show the extra padding on the inside of the back heel -- almost like a puffy blister band-aid stuck to the inside of the shoe. The padding addition makes the shoe fit tighter and is also situated too low (at the widest part of my heel) so instead of locking my heel in place, it caused my heel to slide out with every step. Unfortunately this padding isn't removable, so the shoes were returned. I would not recommend them.

If you have flat feet like me, this is the shoe for you. Super comfortable for hiking and great for everyday use. A major thing that I love is that they dry so quickly. I stepped both of my ENTIRE feet into a huge puddle. They were dry hours later. Stepped into ANOTHER puddle the next day. Again, dried within an hour. I was so impressed. This is definitely a great lighter hiking shoe for sunshine or rain.
