Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Jacket My boyfriend and I went to Iceland for a few days. We explored and hiked in 20 degree weather. I'd like to mention that we are from Florida and get easily cold; however, I wore a set of thermals and just this jacket on top and I was comfortable. It's not waterproof, so on rainy days or by the waterfalls I did use the north face rain jacket on top of this one. Honestly, it was a great buy and I definitely recommend it. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for if you're looking for a very lightweight compact and warm jacket! I'm 5 ft and 110 lbs, XS fit me perfectly!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really like it but... It works great as a mid layer but the fabric is not durable. After one week of wearing on a tour of Alaska, there are little snags and loose strings all over the sleeves. I was not doing anything strenuous, just some casual hiking, mostly with a shell over it. About the only time the jacket wasn't protected by a shell was when I was riding in the bus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight yet warm My best friend has the hooded version and every time I see her wearing it, I compliment it without realizing it’s always the same jacket. Finally I tried hers on and fell in LOVE. I never buy expensive things right away. My rule for buying them is if I’m still thinking about it a week later and still want it as much, I’ll get it. Well, I bought it and still am 100% excited whenever I wear it. It’s my go-to jacket and looks so good on me! I’m glad I got it on sale but in all honesty, it is worth the hefty price tag. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Skiing/Snowmobiling Midlayer and Climbing Jacket I usually use this as a climbing jacket when it's chilly out and I love it for that because it's very breathable and thin and comfy, but also very warm. I recently used it as a mid layer for skiing and snowmobiling in about -10F weather and paired it with a decent base layer and goretex shell, and I was VERY warm the entire time and was very pleasantly surprised at how great of a mid layer this jacket was. I love how thin it is and how much it cuts down on bulk when I use it in the snow with my shell and base layer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not for me This just wasn't for me. I don't know if it was the cut or the color but it was particularly unflattering. 2x styles can be challenging and this one didn't quite land in 2x. And i really wanted something with a little more warmth potential than this would have had. I was on the fence between a packable down and this one. So I'll replace this with a thermoball. But the material was lovely and it seemed nicely made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect mid layer and fall/spring jacket Great stretch and excited about the variable venting for active movement. Was a replacement for a lightweight down jacket with flexible panels. I preferred the styling of the down jacket but think the materials and construction on this one for mid weight layer is more practice and functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I bought this thinking that it was going to just be a casual jacket to wear. But, it happened to be able to make my trip to Montana where it was around 50 degrees. It was perfect! I wasn't sure what to expect, but was thrilled with how it performed.

HOW to MEASURE
CHEST / BUST: Measure the total circumference of your chest at its fullest point. Ensure that the tape is horizontal when measuring.

WAIST: Place your hands on your hips and bend to the side. The indent on your side as you bend is your natural waist. Measure the total circumference at this point.

HIPS: Stand with your feet 6" apart. Measure the total circumference at the fullest point of your hip.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your elbow slightly bent, starting at your middle neck bone, measure to the point of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone. Or take a shirt that fits well and take the same measurement.

FIT TYPES
SLIM FIT: Has a close-to-body fit with fair range-of-motion. Jackets are shaped at the waist with moderate body contouring. Can be worn over base layers or light mid-layers.

STANDARD FIT: Fits true-to-size for easy, comfortable movement. Can either have slight body shaping or a straight fit without the shaping. Can be worn over mid-layers.

RELAXED FIT: Has a loose-to-oversize fit, with no shaping, and hangs away from the body. The shoulder may drop below the natural shoulder. Can be worn over heavy mid-layers.
