Rated 5 out of 5 by from Therma-rest Matress Best price on the internet, order came fast, mabey 3 days. Therma-rest has such a solid reputation I anticipate the product to perform flawlessly as has my smaller TR that I have used 100s of times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bulky but WORTH IT As a motorcycle racer with a lifetime of injuries, sleeping on this thing is wonderful. It's the closest easily portable thing to a memory foam mattress you can buy. I put it and my xl canvas 40 degree sleeping bag in an 80L dry bag and lash it to the panniers on my motorcycle. If you have the room, I cannot reccomend this highly enough. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super kush! This mattress is exactly like sleeping at home. So comfortable and warm! Rolling up is a chore but it is made easier by folding over a foot long section at a time and putting you knees on the folded section to push the air out. Once you get to the end close both valves, unroll it, and reroll it tighter this time. Sleep like a king! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Uber Comfortable! This pad is fantastic! Super comfy. The only downside is tightly rolling a 4 inch self inflating pad can be a bit challenging, but it sleeps so good I’m willing to look past it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply put, I love it. I've been a Therm-a-rest user for 25 years. Rule #1 is store them flat or they won't self inflate. Anyone who keeps them rolled up and complains they don't self inflate only has themselves to blame for not using the product correctly. My 2" mat I usually leave rolled up because it's not a big deal to inflate on a trip. I nearly passed out 3 times getting this one inflated the first time because I couldn't find my pump. I cleared off a spare bed to keep it stored flat and full, and it inflated spectacularly even at 40°F. I'll be using this one in the winter and when I can see the truck from my tent, but it's one of the best nights sleeping I've ever had. -Bonus tip, 2 days before a trip over inflate it a bit then shut the valve. Then when you're on the trip it'll self inflate even better and sometimes completely. -The weather on it's first run was similar to the weekend before when I took the same bag with my 2" pad. It hit low 30's at night and I couldn't believe how much warmer the same sleeping bag was on the 4" pad. 30° was near the lower limit for the bag before and I'd be comfortable saying it's 25-20 on this pad. -Both valves inflate the same space, so close one before you try to manually inflate it. One of my valves seems to butt up against the foam inside oddly causing some flow problems. Not something I'm going to worry about. -I've switch to the double roll method for deflating all my therm-a-rest pads because it's easier and takes less time than getting it all out in one go. Roll once a bit loosely to get most of the air out. Lay on top to squish as much out as possible. Close the valves and unroll. Now roll it as tightly as possible, pop one valve open as the air builds up and finish rolling. -My durability rating is based on the 25 years I've been camping with therm-a-rest on average twice a month, and never had to patch anything.
