The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir All Season mattress is lightweight, durable, extremely warm, and the ultimate solution to year-round backcountry comfort. Stable construction and 2.5-inch thickness offer greater comfort for a full night of sleep, so you won't feel the uneven, rough terrain beneath you. Patent-pending Triangular Core Matrix technology creates over 100 internal cells, and with Reflective Barriers to trap warm air, the results are an incredibly high R-value without the weight or bulk of conventional insulation. Therm-a-Rest uses durable fabrics and construction to give the NeoAir All Season mattress the strength to stand up to rugged conditions throughout the year, and it can also be inflated directly without the worry of exhaled moisture wetting insulation and decreasing performance. For easy packing and travel, NeoAir technology allows the All Season mattress to be lighter, but without sacrificing performance.

ThermaCapture Radiant Heat Technology is a proprietary reflective coating that we apply to a range of surfaces. By reflecting radiant heat back to your body that is otherwise lost, this extremely lightweight coating turns that surface into a very efficient heat reflector, amplifying warmth without the excess weight or bulk of added, conventional insulating materials.

So far it rocksIt is lightweight and has a high r-value that I was going for without being too overpriced. I just got into camping last year and really only go to the red river gorge in spring/summer/fall to climb and camp but wanted to get a pad that I could use in the future for anything a little more intense. I think this pad is perfect. It is a little noisy but I'll take that if it means I'm warmer. It comes with a sweet bag you can use to blow it up (which are quite pricey sold seperately) and also a repair kit. I tihink this is a great pad and might be just one step down from the neoair xlite depending on what is more important to you: weight or r-value.

Super Comfortable! This pad is extremely comfortable. It packs down fairly small and is absolutely the best option if you are looking to buy one pad to use during all 4 seasons. The only draw back is the "noise" this product produces when laying on top of it, but once you get past that you'll sleep like a baby. This is the kind of product you buy then turn around and ask yourself "how the heck did I camp without one of these?" Definitely a game changer. I almost threw my Z-lite in the trash after returning home from my first week out with this pad. I will never go back to anything that isn't this exact pad. I hope they never change it (unless they plan to make it quieter)

This is a great product, and you will not be let down with this one!Therm-a-rest sleeping pads are one of those products that you get what you pay for. Now if you're like me you already know what you are looking at. So you want the negatives of the product first so you can get what you want and compare products. The only thing I dislike about the all season pad is that the reflective material used for the insulation inside of the pad is crinkly, and a bit noisy. It's a, you win some you loose some, with this one. But I do think its a total win. I can deal with the noise. It is very warm, light, small packing, easy to inflate, comfortable, durable, and large enough for me to sleep well. I would recommend this to anyone! Buy it!

Pad Is HereItem arrived in great time. It appears as advertised, the only exception being the weight in tech specs is wrong. The regular comes in at 21 ounces. (It's printed on the package so listing it as 19 is a bit deceptive). If you're counting grams/ounces best keep this in mind. With included pump and batteries, if one decides to use them, the pack weight will be north of 25 ounces. As for comfort, I've been on Z-rest and Prolite pads for several years and this pad is by far more comfortable. Also not as noisy as some have stated but it is a tad crinkly when crawling off and on. We'll see how it plays out in the woods over the next several months.

My FavoriteI've used a lot of different pads over the years and the NeoAirs are the best by far. You get superior thickness (for comfort) but much better packability than the self inflators etc. I like the all season as a year round pad in the Sierra. I have about 30 nights on this thing with no signs of leaking etc. Note If it deflates in cold conditions, you are pretty much hosed in terms of residual R-value unless you repair and reinflate. Hasn't happened to me but could be dangerous in severe conditions. Always carry a repair kit. Also, very noisy when you roll around/shift on it. Still my all-around favorite pad by far.,,

The Gold StandardI've now slept 5 nights on mine. I love the packed size -- about the size of a water bottle -- and the weight. I had always used self-inflating pads so was concerned about having to blow it up, but it was painless. While using the provided stuffsack to inflate is not terribly efficient, you can do it at altitude while conversing with your camping partner. I am amazed at its warmth -- it reflects enough heat back at you that feels like you are sleeping on an electric blanket. It is also very comfortable. I remain a bit concerned about durability. It just feels so darned delicate. The jury is still out on its value, which will require more experience with durability.

Very comfortable, but annoying crinkly soundI bought this pad a few weeks ago for a snow camping trip due to its high R factor (measure of insulation efficiency). Unfortunately, the snow camping didn't happen, but I was able to use it the following week during a car camping trip. I'm impressed with the compactness, low weight and comfort of this mattress. The only down side is that every movement causes a loud crinkling sound as if you were wadding up a chip bag or squeezing a thin disposable water bottle. The sound seemed to be lessening on night #2. I will give it another try on a camping trip in July. I really want it to work because it is super comfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I recommned this productI was looking at the Therm-A-Rest NeoAir All Season and the comparable Nemo Astro Insulated pads for 4 season camping. There was ample documentation that the All Season was suited for this purpose (including a 2011 Editors' Choice Snow Award in Backpacker Magazine). Conversely, there were mixed messages about the comparable Nemo product's performance in cold weather. The Astro did win a Backpacker Magazine award with its pillow combo. But this combo was too bulky for me for backpacking. I went with the All Season. The pad is well made and comfortable. I am pleased with my decision.
