Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the best backpacking sleeping pad. Have used for 5 nights now, all with the Vesper 32. Packs down incredibly small, is ridiculously light, and is very comfortable to sleep on. I cowboy camped with it and the Vesper 32 in temperatures right around 35 degrees and was very warm, although I did wear my down jacket as well. When I did the same in my tent in the same temps I woke up sweating and had to ditch the jacket. Absolutely love it, have no issues with it at all. I will update in the future if durability becomes an issue. I should mention I am a Backcountry trail worker and spend many nights outside and have tried many pads.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light as advertised Just got back from a weekend on the AT and was excited to try out my new UberLite. It was 8.5 ounces as advertised, and kept me comfortable enough although it is so skinny I had the propensity to roll off of it. I'm only 5'4" and don't need all that length but could use a little more width. Any chance you're going to make a shorter but wider version? Say, a women's version that is 66" long and 24" wide?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BUYER BEWARE Absolutely garbage! Hiking the A.T. I got one night on the UberLite. Second night it deflated. Bought a second one at Mountain Crossing at Neels gap. Second one did not even stay inflated one night. (This was after the guys at Mountain Crossings sold me a piece of Tyvek to lay the pad on to protect it.) Spent the next 4 nights on shelter wood floors. I have owned Thermarest pads since about 1983. Others have been awesome This pad has a definite design flaw or manufacturing issue. I think both of my UberLites have valve issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too good to be true I wanted to love this product as the specs are ridiculously good. But like with most other things in life if something seems to good to be true it probably isn't: the mat failed TWICE! The first one was inflated at home and would completely deflate after one hour or so. I then ordered another one (I really wanted to make it happen). It seemed ok at home but on the first night on the field it failed within a few minutes. So THEORETICALLY this would have been a great mat but because of the super thin denier the durability just isn't there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Women's Length Please I've used a z-lite for 3000+ miles but had to try this one out for the weight savings. I like it but I just wanna echo the other commenters-there should be a women's version in between the torso length and 6'. I really sucks to inflate 8" of pad that I don't need. I bet that taller people would buy it too who want to save a little more weight without going all the way down to torso length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect. Ultralight, check+. Comfortable, check. Not noisy, check. Excellent customer service, check. Wide enough so that my arms don't hang off the side, argh. I'm not even a huge guy. Please make this pad in a regular, wide version. The width or lack there of is my only complaint.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More hikers prefer a Regular Wide sleeping pad Being in the GA portion of the AT, I can tell you that the average backpacker is not 6'2", 150 lbs. For guys 5'9", 200 lbs would be in range. In other words, you want to sell more gear? Then make a Regular Wide sleeping pad. As I have aged, by body has become a bit wider and I don't like having a cold seat hanging off the pad as I'm a side sleeper. Back sleepers don't like having their arms off the pad on the cold ground. Not only do Nemo and Sea to Summit make such a regular-wide pad, the low cost Chinese makers have them, too. Cascade Designs seems to have no clue as to how popular such a pad would be. Not all the hikers in the northwest are tall and skinny, and most hikers sure as heck aren't built that way in much of North America. There is a market for such a pad via MassDrop, Indigogo or some such marketing op. Klymit seems to have figured that out with their 23" width, but their pads are heavier than the NeoAir series of pads. Come on Therm-a-rest, rise to the challenge of having the outdoor retailers top selling backpacking pad in the form of a Regular Wide pad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would love a women's version! Almost perfect in the regular size except I have about 5 baffles I don't use (I'm 5'8")! Would be great if it was offered in a wider but shorter version. Very comfortable and light though as is! (Actually came in under spec, only 8.2 oz!)
