Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disposable chair First of all, I weigh 160 lbs. I do not abuse or misuse any of my possessions; the chair was strictly just sat on. This chair never even made it outside camping before the flimsy plastic leg snapped off on me. I was using it inside, flat on my kitchen floor. Now I have a nice big gouge in the hardwood from the leg breaking off on it to contend with and I'm not happy about that, but luckily I didn't get injured in the process of it collapsing. All in all, it is an over $100 chair that you might get one good use camping out of before it breaks on you too. I wish you luck if you do decide to purchase this chair!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quadra survives backcountry breakdown This chair was was excellent. Easy to assemble and pack and darn comfortable until day 4 of our 13 day Rio Grande paddling trip. The SNAP heard round camp followed by guffaws from group members as I went down bound on my new 3 legged Quadra. 9 days remained and my 285lb body needed a seat. We followed the instructions and beat the remaining legs until they were the same length as the original broken leg. Give some thought to including a mini hacksaw blade with each chair. Those remaining legs were hard to amputate. Not sure if its an expedition chair but it sure was comfy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too Cool! Bought this chair for supported, multi-day cycling tours because it's small enough to fit in a gear bag. The engineering in this product is just amazing. At 6'3" 250 lbs. I need a fairly stout chair. The Quadra feels stable and solid. The large feet do not sink into the ground, and the rubber foot pads make it useable on finished hard floors. I won't likely use this chair for everyday backyard purposes, but it's perfect for those times where space is limited. I would have given it four stars because of the price tag, ouch, but the totally cool design has me so intrigued, I'll give it 5 stars in spite of the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quadra Chair Brilliant for our campervan trips as it packs away so small and weighs so little. Sitting out in the evening is all part of the experience and our Quadra chairs are robust enough to give lasting comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updated Legs Last year, I had an issue with my chairs legs, but the warranty team was quick to contact me and fix the problem. It has been a year, and the chairs with updated legs have been on a few expeditions, and they are holding up great! Friends of all sizes and on all terrains have used the chairs and are very impressed. The warranty team's impressive service made me happy with my purchase again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfy chair, questionable plastic legs Have enjoyed the stability and ease of set up for the chair - also the packable size and assembled size are great. I have used it on one over night camping trip and a handful of little league baseball games and noticed that the chair has a break forming in the plastic leg. Disappointing because I love the chair but can't afford to replace it. Probably will buy a cheap camp chair - sacrifice some comfort but save some money. I hope the company solves this in the future. I see others have the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weak plastic legs Although very compact and comfortable chair, the plastic legs are not capable of supporting 300# it claims. I only weigh 155#, used this chair handful times mostly indoors, and already notice cracks in plastic legs. Read other reviews and seems like a common problem. I'm afraid to use this anymore or let anyone use it. It will hurt someone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Let Down I purchased two of these chairs Aug 2016. We used them for a 10 day camping trip, they were a nice luxury to have after some long, hard days. Comfortable, easy to set up and convenient size to pack. BUT I recently took them on another trip and found the legs have cracked/have white marks (see pic). I am 170lb and my boyfriend is 200lb. We have treated them with great care, as they feel like an investment based on the price. I am pretty disappointed
