Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use all the cross poles. Decided this year to use a cot while car camping. I am #115 female and "bottomed out" in the hip area until I put the crossed poles in the middle. It made all the difference. Added a thin foam pad (think generous yoga mat) on top of the cot when it got cold. Also a good thing. Will see how the fabric where the clips attach to vertical poles holds up. There are early signs of fraying after a week of use. Hint for assembly: stand on the vertical poles while putting the cross poles in, keeps the cot from jumping around. Put top and bottom cross poles in first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every night for 6 years... "I have used my LuxuryLite Cot since 2011. I move a lot and decided to stop lugging big beds to my new apartments. I have been sleeping on the LuxuryLite Cot every night at home for the past 6 years.. I just received a new fabric top under the Lifetime Warranty. I really put that cot to the test because I have to get up 4 to 5 times each night for medical reasons and then stumble back into bed. That is like 20 years of normal usage. Glad I found the LuxuryLite Cot." Terry, San Antonio, TX. April 2017

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable, light-weight, but support rods bend permanently I love the light-weight and compactness of the cot. It does bring an added comfort when sleeping in the back-country. However, after just 4 nights of using the cot, the metal bow rods already started to bend, some at a significant angle. Three of the rods are bend to such a degree that I feel they might snap when I use it next. The rods seem to permanently bend when deconstructing the cot (ie removing them from the frame). I followed the instructions when laying on the cot and removing the bow rods. I am 6'0'' and 190 pounds, so am well within the weight restrictions of the cot. I have not contacted Thermarest to inquire about replacing the rods yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 230 lbs and a happy camper I saw a review for someone that said they were 215 and they were touching the ground. Almost didn't get it for that reason. I'm 230 and am not hitting the ground at all. So glad that I bought it anyway. After setting it up the way they explained in the video and have no issues. Great sleep and a happy camper!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great and almost perfect Very comfortable and works great for motorcycle camping. Packs up nice and small to fit in the panniers. The new feet dig in to the ground more than the older styled round ones, I will have to watch and see how it treats my tent floor. The material at each attachment hole gets caught by the feet and are stretching out. They haven't torn but are showing wear after only being used a few times. Could be my technique of removing the braces. Overall, love the product and look forward to many years of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greetings from Greenland with 5 stars recommendation I'm rating the UltraLite Cot 5 stars and Yes I would recommend it to everyone! Simply perfect for my need! Ultra light and easy to pack and assembly. I followed the instruction shown on the video to set up the cot for the first time and used crossed poles in the middle and was clear to the ground with my 200 lbs. I also read the one star recommendation review from the Poland guy hitting the ground with his 213 lbs, he obviously hasn't followed the instruction shown on the video how to assemble the cross poles! ...just saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy night off the ground [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after a friend raved about her great night’s sleep on it. I am no spring chicken, so thought that I would prize sleep over weight. After one night on it I can say that it is way more comfortable than sleeping on the ground. I’m a super cold sleeper and it got down to around 45 degrees that night and I was comfortable and warm on it with just a sleeping bag on top of the cot (no space blanket or pad). It is pretty firm and I am used to a high quality mattress at home so I didn’t sleep like a log, but it was fine. I need to toughen up. When I got home I put my inflatable Therm-A-Rest on top of it and it was a dream come true. I am not sure that carrying both backpacking would be worth the weight but it is also hard to put a price on sleep.
