Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY water resistant Others have said this pack is not waterproof. Perhaps it is not 100%. However, I'd like to share a story: One night, as I was packing up and doing some final laundry before leaving the country, I emptied my backpack and decided it a wash. However, I forgot that I left my phone in it. I realized my phone was in the washer about 5 minutes into a full soak. Luckily, the laundromat lady was able to stop the machine. Everything was soaked. Also luckily, I had zipped my phone into the only zip pocket, up front. The pocket was completely dry inside and my phone was not even moist. So it's extremely water resistant, based on this accidental test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Great I use this bag daily to carry my 15" laptop and all the BS that one needs to transport to and from the office. I really like that I can also fit my lunch and a change of shoes. This bag has allowed me to not look so much like a bag lady slogging into work. The only qualm that I have is that since I'm a rather small framed woman, 5'-4" 135lb, the straps are a touch too wide and sometimes they slip off of my shoulder. A chest clip would be great. Other then that, it's a dream boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it already I have 2 other Timbuk2 bags that have been going strong for years, and I'm mad it took me so long to pick this backpack up once I found it. The bag is light but still sturdy. I love the minimal look of the front bag when the market is so packed with backpacks that are super technical. This has a good blend of classic style with the function that I've come to expect from Timbuk2. The front pocket has double stacked organizing pockets, one elastic mesh, and the other closed. The main compartment is roomy with plenty of room for my 15" Macbook Pro, notebook, and folio in the laptop sleeve, and then two small zip pouches that I keep all my other "purse" stuff organized in. I could probably fit gym clothes and shoes, or enough for an overnight trip, too, if needed. When opened, the main compartment is a bit deep, it would be nice if the neck of the bag unzipped open somehow, but overall I'm very happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good I really like my new hero backpack. It fits a lot of stuff including a padded pocket for my laptop. I love the color and fabric, only issue is the shoulder straps don't have enough padding. I would suggest that a future version beef up the straps for a more comfortable carry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stylish, but disappointed in durability & functionality The backpack looks fantastic initially, everyone would agree it's a stylish bag. However, immediately upon opening my package and feeling the bag, I was disappointed in the quality and durability of the bag. The material feels very thin and cheap. There is hardly any padding on the back, straps, and bottom of the bag. While there is plenty of storage space inside, there is absolutely no internal storage or compartments except for the laptop slip. There is plenty space, but no compartments for functionality, and without the durability and padding of the bag, it feels risky filling it up and taking advantage of all the space. There is internal storage in the front pocket, but it's quite small. Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy and functional bag, I recommend passing on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All my friends kept trying to steal my backpack I'm a designer so I cared a lot about a backpack that looked good but also functioned for me with my laptop and often other electronics. It's a deep pocket when it comes to the roll-up but it works so well for me. My sister and my friends kept "borrowing" it until I told them I really did need it for work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, Stylish, Practical I use this as a commuter bag to/from work. The size and amount of organization offered is perfect, and it's also a really comfortable pack. Fits my 15" laptop nicely and leaves plenty of room for other items (i.e. gym shoes/clothes) in the main compartment. Front pocket offers the organization I need without overwhelming the bag. I keep my phone, keys, wallet, badge in there and still have room for a couple other small things if needed. The water bottle holders can be a little frustrating because my bottle (YETI 18oz) digs into the main compartment of the bag, but I'm okay with strategically packing if it means I get a well made pocket that doesn't look like a saggy diaper or give off jetpack vibes when not in use. All in all, this bag does exactly what I need and it looks great while doing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very spacious This bag has exceeded my expectations. I was worried there wouldn't be enough compartments to keep my things organized, but the front pouch has many slots to put all my stuff. The main compartment could fit my laptop, planner, notebooks, bike lock and a jacket and still had room to fill. It is lightweight but well made. Very excited to put this thing to use.
