Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, the perfect backpack! I have been looking for a backpack for about a year now. I live in New York, and Needed something that looks good, holds a number of things, isn't too big, and is a good color that goes with a lot of things. I ordered a few others online, and was disappointed bc they were too big for my small frame. The first thing I noticed when walking with this one, is that my arms don't hit the backpack when I walk. It felt so good, I almost cried. I know this sounds overly dramatic, but I seriously had such a hard time finding the perfect backpack. I love it! It's unobtrusive, and fits perfectly. I'm so glad my search is finally over. The only thing I would change if I were to change anything at all, is I would put more pockets for better organization on the inside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect This bag is the ideal size for work and travel. I have even attached my PeakDesign camera clip to it, added a small padded insert, and have used it as a camera bag. There's enough organization to keep everything in its place, without too many dividers which I often don't end up using. I love that there's a dedicated pocket for both your laptop AND tablet should you choose to carry both. Would have preferred this to be a true black but the color is neutral enough that it goes with almost everything. My only complaint is that the rough material of the backpack has caused the lower-back area of a few of my knit tops and sweaters to pill, effectively ruining them. If this backpack came in a smooth nylon fabric, it would be perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pictures are deceptive First I LOVE THIS BAG. It's become my all around daily carry. Work and purse replacement. The only issue I have is the color choices. The bag isn't black...it's a dark dark purple, the stitching for the most part is purple. The zippers are black, The leather handle at the top and leather straps are grey. The zipper pulls are suppose to be rose goldish. If they made this bag in all black it would have gotten 5 stars. I don't mind the dark purple (because it's my favorite color) but the grey and rose gold aren't needed. A water bottle pocket would be nice too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color is Misleading!! I got this to commute to and from grad school in semi snowy/rainy conditions, and was drawn in by the water repellent finish and zippers, and the laptop pocket in the back! It has lots of pockets for school and seems fairly durable - my only comment is it is NOT BLACK as it seems on the picture. Its actually a dark purple/violet color. On the fence whether to keep this as I was hoping for a solid black backpack that would look slightly more professional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps things compact and organized! I bought this getting ready for a trip to visit family and loved the look of it online. When it arrived I loved the color and material even more. I also appreciate how the size has prompted me to be much more selective about what I take back and forth to the office. It also works for weekend errands, but I won't be able to realistically use as my in flight travel bag. The major downside issue with this backpack is it not having an external water bottle pocket - I hadn't realized how compact it was so when using as my work bag with my laptop, I am unable to fit my water bottle inside the bag either. Overall, I can't imagine using the bag as a primary travel bag because it is so compact and without a water bottle pocket, but I like the weight and the clean lines. I'm undecided if I'll keep or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from streamlined So far so good. I needed a backpack to use like a purse. I like to have my hands free for traveling/subway etc. It holds all the day to day stuff that I need and then some. It is nice and streamlined without extra straps hanging down and all those "hiking" extras that other backpacks have. It's very urban looking, cool color, good size for me, not bulky. It does not have a side pocket for umbrella or water bottle. The padded section would hold a small laptop/pad but not very big. I use that part for my hat and gloves/book. Inside there is a private zip shut pocket. The handle and zipper pulls feel cheap. The zippers seems good but I wish they were double zippers so I could clip them together. Nicely divided spaces for things. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The little work bag I've been looking for I was looking for a smaller work bag that I could use when not riding my motorcycle (that one is a bit bigger), as well as one with a different look/style. It holds everything that I need to take with me to work (13" macbook pro, 20oz waterbottle, large wallet, makeup bag, large sunglass case, small notebook) plus a little room to spare on top. It's cute, stylish and compact. I'm 5'2" and have a short waist so everything makes me look like a little kid carrying a backpack. But not this one! I scored a *really* good deal on Black Friday, but even if I didn't, I was prepared to pay full price. I highly recommend this bag to anyone. So far I've used it for commuting to work (car) and flying and using as a carry on. It's absolutely perfect. The only negative I have for it is the color is not a 'dark' black, since the fabric is Cordura, I believe. So be prepared for a blueish black. But that didn't deter me from keeping this bag. LOVE IT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure about it I've been searching for a sleek, smaller backpack that is professional enough for the office but has all the features I need to use it as a carry on. I love the size of this bag, it's small enough that I don't look like a child carrying it, but it fits a surprising amount and is well organized. I love the buckled straps. They are easy to adjust and I know they won't budge once I set them at the right length. They also get short enough to fit me which a lot of other bags I tried don't do. At first I was disappointed that there is no external water bottle pouch, but my water bottle actually fits well inside and is easy to access with the way the zipper is designed. What I don't like about the bag is the fabric. It's nice that the cordura is durable, but it's really scratchy and hurts my skin if I wear it with a tank top. I would also be afraid of wearing it over a nice sweater as I feel like it might ruin the sweater. The fabric also makes it look less sleek and professional than I thought it would be. And as other reviewers said this bag is definitely purple, not black. I wanted a black bag that would match with any outfit. So I am not sure if I am going to keep it.
