Rated 1 out of 5 by from Every time I see the front pocket of this pack I get angry!! The front pocket on this backpack is so inaccessible that I literally want to rip my hair out. I'm typing this right now with one hand because my other hand is stuck in the front pocket. It's waayyyy to difficult to unzip because there is this annoying lip over the pocket, which I guess keeps rain out, but it also keeps my hand out. It's so hard to unzip completely. And then, once you unzip it, your items are so deep in the pocket that you can't reach them. And God forbid the backpack is full of stuff, as these items will push agains the pocket, trapping everything in it and forcing you to have the tactile strength of a rock climber just to rip out whatever is in the pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this backpack a lot! When I first saw the bag I was a little disappointed. It looked smaller than the backpack I was replacing and didn't seem that it was actually going to fit my laptop. But, not only is my laptop fine in there, but the bag is actually able to fit quite a bit of books and other items, like chargers, really well. Everything is snug in there, so there's little chance of things jostling around and getting broken as you move throughout the day. The only thing that I am still slightly disappointed with is the water bottle pocket on the side. But that is so minor and doesn't, in my mind, qualify for giving this backpack less than 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product anytime. Our entire family owns Timbuk2, backpacks, messenger bags etc.. I bought this one cause I wanted something that is stylish around the office yet it has space to carry overnite change of clothes. It is exactly what I was looking for, I am an IT Consultant with Deloitte and I travel every week to client locations all over the country. Items I carry on this backpack: 1. 14.1 laptop 2. Bose headsets 3. Toiletry bag 4. iPad mini 5. Water bottle 6. Accessories + cables I love the feel of the bag on my shoulders, the straps have enough padding to haul for hours. I am going to see how it handles the Winter in NY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek and trendy bag perfect for the person on the go. Plenty of pockets of all sizes, good for anyone who likes to be organized as much as possible. The only con to all the space to organize things is it can be hard to fit several books and tablets in the backpack at the same time without it being a tight squeeze that bends your books and papers or squashes your lunch slightly. Very comfortable, secure, and easy to adjust. Definitely a good fit for the active college student, hiker, or anyone who spends their days on the go. The bag is sleek, and has a very gender neutral look that I can share with my husband, great for anyone of any age that values style and comfort equally. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attention to detail and quality The last Timbuk2 bag was a messenger bag I bought when I was in grad school 10 years ago. To this day, I haven't had to replace it because it holds up so well. Finally, my girlfriend said she was sick of me wearing the messenger bag and wanted me to get a backpack, so I went with the division because of it's minimalism and simplicity. I have to say, I think this bag is constructed with even higher standards than my last one. The attention to detail and quality are superb - I don't know how you Timbuk2 can run a business when I never need to replace their equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack with limited organization I really like this backpack. I love the kinetic color. It's comfortable to wear. The size is perfect for my 13" laptop. My lunch bag fits nicely into the large, expandable pocket. My only complain with this backpack is with organization. All of the interior pockets are extremely large, which is great for notebooks or sunglasses, but anything much smaller than that gets lost in the deep pockets. The pockets don't velcro or zip closed either so these smaller items tend to fall out unless the backpack is kept upright (it does a good job of standing up on its own unless it's in the backseat of a car or something). I've started to carry zippered pouches to put into the large pockets of this bag, which is a little disappointing, but other than that I really like this bag.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Straps cannot keep up with daily wear... I've owned this backpack for 14 months now. The waxy material is not forgiving to even the slightest scratches and the shoulder straps are worn through where the wax coating is now separating from the fabric. I would definitely shy away from the timbuk2 wax fabric products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Straps wear faster than pack I'm really disappointed in this pack which I've now owned for 13 months. Although the pack itself doesn't have any wear, the shoulder steps are worn through where the rubber coating meets the fabri on the strap. Very surprised given the usual quality of timbuk2.
