Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice bag but i have also suffered from a broken clip I bought this bag about 2 months ago as a commuter pack for daily use in rainy Bergen Norway. The bag itself (as in the textile) has held up very well and it keeps all of the contents dry and safe. However i just noticed that the buckle for the top closure has broken. I figured everyone else was being rough with their bags and this wouldnt happen to me but ive been very gentle. My bag is as clean as day one, it is not abused in the slightest. I only use this bag to go to and from work with the occasional errand in between. Given everyone elses complaints with the buckle i think its time Timbuk2 upgrades to metal clasps and closures and gives up on this cheap plastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Timbuk2 Pack I've Owned So Far I've owned quite a number of Timbuk2 packs over the years with varying success on the sizing - usually too small to handle my max capacity commute. With the Tuck I've been extremely impressed so far. I'm constantly amazed by everything I can fit in it - I was hesitant at first thinking it may not be up to the task of hauling my lunch, gym clothes + shoes, laptop, power cord, notebook, and coffee mug. But somehow it fits it all while managing to not be bulky. Super satisfied and LOVING the simple/clean design. Highly recommend and would buy again. I've also gotten quite a few compliments along my travels with it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I'm not one to write reviews, except when I have a really great or really poor experience with something. The bag itself does what a bag should do - the sleeve accommodates my laptop, the side pockets a phone, wallet, water bottle, etc. The main compartment is spacious (though I agree with many other reviewers in that more pockets would be helpful). The primary reason I'm two-starring this bag is because after less than two months of use the closure buckle broke. A replacement is an option, but it's "Unavailable" on the site. Mailing it in to be repaired is an option, but then I'm paying for shipping plus I'm without a bag for 4-6 weeks. For a custom product and a company with such a good reputation, this is a real bummer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is an amazing travel companion! When I saw the waxed camo version of the Tuck Pack, I fell in love immediately. The gorgeous woodland-style camo, coupled with the voluminous Tuck design, was a match made in heaven. I was recently able to hold an entire weekend's worth of items + tech for a trip, no sweat! The only complaint I'd have is that the waxed camo version lacks the front zip pocket, which makes the pack too much of a big tube to be perfectly useful. Putting in my own organizers and dividers makes the bag a little awkward to dig through -- even though everything fits inside, still. Skews the usage towards holding fewer, larger items, as opposed to lots of smaller things.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice-looking but not good if you need a lot of organization Overall, this is a stylish, lightweight bag. I enjoy it for the most part. There are a few areas where it didn't live up to expectation: -The "anti-authority pocket" is much too small and isn't good for anything but your keys or something else that's tiny. Even a regular-size wallet would have trouble fitting. I was hoping it would be a good security/secret pocket but since it's so small, I can't fit anything more than some wrapped up earbuds. -It would definitely be nice if it had some more pockets. -More organization possibility on the inside. Right now, it's mostly just a burlap sack - just pack stuff on top of each other. It would have been nice to see a lot more organization on the inside instead of just mostly a big hole to stuff into.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy to have this forever I got this bag for my commute walking 30 min to work and also to double as a gym bag. Theres plenty of room for everything without looking like you're going on an overnight camping trip while walking around the city. The laptop compartment in the back is so nice since my gym clothes and lunch don't have to intermingle. I love that there are two side compartments so I can have water in one and coffee in the other. Bottom line...this bag is equal parts stylish and functional. I didn't want to get a super expensive leather bag that I would be throwing around and putting my lunch in. Would 133% buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from super disappointed in the custom backpack I was super disappointed with the custom tuck backpack. It was unclear from the images and the description that if you choose to pay more money to customzie the colors, you are giving up functionality that exists in the original tuck backpack. There is only one zipped pocket on the front of the bag, with no pockets anywhere else inside or outside the back. I watched the videos of the tuck backpack before I bought it to ensure it had all the pockets and functionality I wanted, only to learn after I received the custom bag that the custom bag functionality is different from the original bag. The lack of pockets makes this bag pretty useless to me (I should at least have a pocket for my phone/wallet/clipper card etc). Since its a custom bag I can't return it. I've bought a backpack from Timbuk2 before and have loved it, so was really disappointed with this bag and lack of clarity around the difference in functionality, especially when I'm paying more for the custom bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Let down by lack of padding and poor quality, weak clasp Don't get me wrong, I like the bag. But unfortunately there's little to no padding for the laptop (between main compartment and laptop compartment) so I've already picked up a couple tiny dings in my lid. The main shoulder straps aren't great but you probably don't need a lot of strap padding for a bag like this. The most annoying this is that the main roll-top buckle broke after just a few weeks. I've NEVER broken a rucksack clasp in the past and I've used rusksacks in much more demanding situations, so this seems to be due to poor design for appearances sake. Unfortunately, even though the replacement buckle is only $3, I bought from the UK so I'll probably have to pay $20 import fee.
