Rated 3 out of 5 by from I miss the Breeze III This boot has lots going for it. Its light and give a lot of support. The soles are grippy and holding up well. The downside is that the lacing does not go close enough to my toes, so it cannot be snugged up as nicely as the Breeze III. Downhills are harder on my feet. And the fore-foot leather/fabric "folds funny," also unlike the Breeze III, with two adverse effects. the leather is separating from the rand, and the folds dig into the top of my fore-foot. Hopefully, the design will evolve and improve, just like the last Breeze was much nicer than its predecessor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wide is not enough - Order at least one size up I moved to these after my Breeze II's got worn out. Those were a tad too narrow at 11.5W so I ordered 12W expecting that to be enough. Unfortunately, these are even narrower than my older, smaller pair. Turns out, the Breeze AT boots are built on a different last than the rest of the Breeze series. Additionally, the AT's are substantially bulkier/thicker than the photos lead one to believe. Do not expect the lightness and the flexibility of previous Breeze boots. Honestly, I am not sure why these carry the Breeze name as opposed to being an entirely unrelated series. Overall, solidly built boots. The soles provide a lot of good grip and there is plenty of ankle support for more technical activities. Unfortunately, due to the sizing problems this pair will need to go back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wide = Too Narrow The 13W Breeze III fit perfectly for me (went through 2 pair). Unfortunately, the 13W in this new generation boot is too narrow. I really wanted this boot to work but it's going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite boot for years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad gets a new pair every 6 months and wears them all day, everyday. He walks about 5-10 miles a day and maintains trails in a park. He's about 250 lbs and 68 years old, and these are the boots that provide the support and comfort he needs for his completely crazy outdoor lifestyle. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not water proof The boots are sturdy with a good tread but they are not water proof. If you’re in water more than an inch deep your feet will get wet. Not sure if they were supposed to be water proof so hence the four stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boots Sizing is small, even the wide version is narrower. Took them out and worked them hard first day...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic boot for summer adventure This review is for the (new) Breeze AT as of summer 2020. After a long search for for the right boot to do the Summerland Trail around Mt. Rainier I found the right one. Thank you to Vasque for making a non-waterproof version. Gortex boots are great in the winter, spring, and fall in the Northwest but just hot and unneeded in the summer in my opinion. Hot = sweat = greater likelihood of discomfort or blisters. These fit me exactly true to size (I wear an 11) even with a replacement footbed that is thicker than what comes with the boot. I'm have a normal to wide foot and enjoy some free room in the toe box. Several of the other reviews mentioned that they have a narrow toe box; this is unequivocally not my experience. Reading the reviews I initailly ordered a 11E and an 11.5E thinking I'd need more room. These were too big and in the end the 11, my normal size, was the perfect fit and still gives me room for my toes to wiggle. I been wearing trail runners or light hikers for a long time (10+ years) and while they are great I developed a foot problem (metatarsalgia) and my doctor recommended a more structured boot/sole as part of my recovery. These boots have worked like a charm and are great under a load. After a bit of trial-and-error on the right thickness sock and the right footbed my magic combination to pair with the boots are the Darn Tough COOLMAX Hiker Micro Crew Cushion Socks (really a cross between a light and medium weight sock) and Birkenstock's Birko Sport Arch Support Footbed (I had to order a size up - stick with your European size if you know it - for me this was 45 / (claimed) US 12-12.5 in the Birko which matched the US 11 Vasque footbed). Great boot! Durable! Comfortable with a load! Well done Vasque!
