Not for hard hikingI used these brand new for 1 of my three 14 day backpacking treks I lead this summer. I was skeptical when using a non broken in boot for a trek, but my old boots were to small and I bit the bullet. Absolutely amazing, not a single blister and they are extremely comfortable. However, hard constant backpacking in the Rocky Mountain for 14 days I guess was too much for these boots. The seem after only 14 days of use is already splitting at the front of the right boot. Disappointing for a brand new boot that I spent lots of money on. They are extremely comfortable and you do not need to break them in, but I’m disappointed with how they have held up.

Love love love these bootsI bought these over a year ago. I had to get a replacement because the first pair had a leak in 1 toe. These boots seem to be made for my feet. So comfortable. Lightweight yet supportive for ankles and arches. I immediately applied Nik-wax waterproofing to the second pair. I plan.to get another pair soon before a possible change in design.
The question about how often I wear the boots cant be as answered with the advil a.c blue options. I wear them when I walkin cooler weather in wet, rain or snow conditions so how often I wear them could be once a month or 5 times a week. Wsnt another pair so I can as alternate days with 2 pairs.

GREAT BOOTS!I have worn these boots all over the USA and Internationally. I just returned from backpacking Mont Blanc and as usual, these boots were great! Very comfortable...especially in the extreme heat we were experiencing. Also, lots of rocks and granite and the soles were firm enough to be mobile when rock hopping but sturdy enough to not have sore feet. And walking through glaciers and rivers...the waterproofing feature is well, waterproof. Ascents of 3000' and then descents of 3000' and no beat up heels or toes. Cool, sturdy, dry, comfortable and breathable...all the features you want in a boot. Thank you Vasque! Now on to more adventures with my boots...they are always ready!

Hard to fit feetI dread having to search for footware of any kind bc my feet are so difficult to fit: wide toe box, narrow heels, bunion. I was drawn to these boots bc I could order them in wide and they are waterproof. I love these boots! They were comfortable from the get-go, supportive, and light weight (as compared to other boots I tried). They served me well for hiking in UT. Now, I am wearing them daily, all day, in lieu of a fracture boot for my fractured left foot (unrelated to hiking) bc they are sturdy, supportive, protective, and minimize the motion of my foot. They have been a true asset for me!

No break in time needed!I’m a Vasque Ambassador and my experiences with the shoes have been great for the past four years. I initially bought these shoes before I became an Ambassador last year because of how comfortable they were when I tried them on and the great reviews I read online. I have sensitive feet and blister easily. They required no break in time. I’ve worn them on day hikes and on overnight backpacking trips with a 40lb pack. They have great ankle support and grip. I have never had wet feet even when walking in and out of shallow streams and puddles.

Comfortable Hiking/Backpacking BootsMy Vasque Breeze boots are the first light-weight hiking boots to fit my feet well (I have high arches), provide reasonable ankle support, be comfortable on long hikes, breathe well, and provide excellent traction.
They do have a few drawbacks, since they ARE lightweight and breathe well, they are not completely waterproof and lack the insulation to keep your feet dry and warm in the snow (although they do have excellent traction on ice). I've also had problems with foxtails working their way through the mesh panels, as does sand in a similar fashion when hiking in the desert.
However, if they were made entirely waterproof, insulated, and impenetrable, they wouldn't be lightweight hiking boots anymore. So all things considered, they are great at doing the job they were designed to do...

Great Boot!!!I LOVE these boots! I teeter between an 8.5 and 9 and I got a 9 in these, my foot is not considered a wide, but it is a bit wider than normal and these fit perfectly! They are very comfortable and support my ankle and arch very well. I was able to wear these straight out of the box and onto the trail, they did not need a break in period for me. The laces are a bit short... so I would recommend replacing them with a longer lace .

Too wide and too shortI am very disappointed in Vasque. I have long, narrow feet and I loved Vasque because their boots used to be a good fit for narrow feet. I had a Mica GTX for many years. It fall apart and I wanted to replace it. Unfortunately, the boot that is most similar to my old Mica, Breeze III GTX is much wider and shorter than my old boot. It looks more like a Keen than a Vasque. I wish you would continue offering the old design for people with narrow feet
