The YETI Rambler 14 Mug is a stainless steel drinking vessel forged in a traditional mug style. Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps your beverage just at the right temperature, and the clear sipping lid is an easy way to see when you're running low. That classic mug handle screams for the coziness of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, perhaps mulled wine, what have you. But, it certainly functions for cold drinks as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to keep your coffee hot or cold drinks cold I bought my 14 oz mug awhile ago and I'm still in love with it as I am with all of my other yeti products. What I have learned to help keep my coffee hotter longer is to prep my cup the same way I would my coolers. I heat up some water and pour it into the mug to help get the cup ready. I use a mag slider lid and keep it closed. All of this is being done while the coffee is brewing. Once the liquid gold is done brewing, I pour out the water and pour in the good stuff. I have noticed that it does help extend the "life" of my coffee especially if I'm busy doing things out around the house. Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mug, but know the tradeoff I love the mug. I did see some people talk about how it doesnt keep hot as long as other Yeti gear like the lowball. The tradeoff is it holds a lot of coffee with a wide footprint (it wont get knocked over easily). This is important for me because my desk is covered in electronics. But being wider your liquids have more contact with the air at the surface, so your drink will cool quicker. Put a magslider lid on it to keep it closed and hold in heat, or understand that a 2 hr hot cup of coffee is better than a 15 minute hot cup of coffee with a traditional mug. Love the mug. Got one for the girlfriend and my mom, who both love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this cup for my house & office I bought this cup a few days ago and I love it. I have the 36 oz rambler bottle with the straw lid that I use for water and love it. I have a 20 oz tumbler with the mud slide that I use for coffee (traveling, going out and about and use it every morning to go to work with my coffee). However, this one is as amazing but just to sit at a desk with you or hold as you are watching TV, reading a book this is the best. People if you are looking for a spill proof obviously this isn't it or if you are looking for one that keeps drinks as hot as a tumbler it wont do it as well as the lid has an opening the tumbler keeps my drink hot for over a day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Mug! Those of you giving this 1, 2 or even 3 stars because it doesn’t keep your liquid hot for hours are using the wrong Yeti product. These mugs are fantastic and work just as stated. I take this guy to work with me every day and it keeps my coffee hot for 2 to 3 hours at least. I don’t know anything past that time because I drink my coffee by then. I also only use the regular lid so it can breath a cool a little because otherwise you wait to long to drink because it stays to hot! If your looking for a container that keeps it hot all day then look at the rambler jugs that have a right seal. Great job yet again Yeti!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this lil Mug, goes with me Everywhere. Ok So lets start with this, this mug is my best but not best and fav coffee mug or cereal bowl, When ever I travel, and in the future;camp, it goes with me. I love it. Now with things you love you tend to over look there flaws, this mug only has one flaw, it doesn't really keep your drinks warm/hot. It's not the fault of the mug, but the fault of the lid. I have a ton of vacuum sealed cups and the ones that hold the heat in have a great heat sealing lid. Yetti does not, it doesn't have a great lid as of yet that is meant for sealing in heat. when they give this product a better lid, then it will get 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oldie but Goodie and the Newbie I just purchased the new 14oz Mug. After using it and then looking at all the comments for and against it on reviews all I can say is this: It is just as good as the Tumbler I have depended on for the past years. I filled these guys up with the same pot of hot water, kept sipping each and I can tell you without doubt the 14 kept the tea just as hot as the Tumbler did. As for all to complaints of it cooling off after 3 hours...who out there takes 3 hours to drink a cup of coffee? FYI, the tape on the Tumber is to keep my fingers warm in the winter cold...the cup retains heat so well from the outside that my fingers get cold before the coffee is gone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not up to Yeti standards I own Yeti Ramblers in most of their forms: from various size tumblers and bottles, wine tumblers, and the lowball. The 14 oz Mug, which is new to me, is a bit of a letdown. I like the size as I use it mainly for brewing tea. The Mug is rather thin and fragile feeling and it only keeps my tea warm for about 20-30 minutes. Another issue is the fact that the interior of Mug, which I've only had for a few weeks, is horribly stained. I take good care of my Ramblers. This particular Mug has always been rinsed put right after use and washed by hand. It's off-putting to make my tea, a small ritual that I enjoy every day, in a stained Mug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complainers Step Aside My girlfriend bought me the 14 ounce rambler as a holiday gift. Before having this mug my coffee or tea would be cold within 15 to 20 minutes "no lids." I’m not sure why Some of the reviews are complaining about it not keeping liquids hot or warm or that the lid leaks...simply doesn’t make sense to me but then again you can’t make everyone happy. Here’s my example; I’ll make my tea at 10:30 /11 o’clock at night and 2-1/2-3 hours later it’s still warm. The first time I used it I spit the coffee back onto the lid and felt like I had third-degree burns in my mouth. LOL. I’ve now bought 3 more to give away as gifts. Cyyyyya Haters And Complainers.
