Great insulated bottle!Bought this to replace my plastic water bottle for Jiu-Jitsu training. The old plastic bottle is already warm by the middle of training. This one is awesome! I have the tumblers and the lowball so I was already familiar with Yeti quality.
The only improvement which I really hope they make, is to make an accessory for the top. Like a sports bottle type of top that you can switch to when needed. It would just make quick drinks faster and easier. I also picked up the straw top for my tumblers which are awesome too! Please think about making a sports type quick open top and this thing would exceed the 5 star ranking it has now.

Disappointed in its performanceBeing an owner of two Yeti coolers as well as a number of the tumblers and colster, I had high expectations that this 18 oz bottle would keep liquids cold for a long period of time. Not so, unfortunately. I filled the bottle with water and ice at 8:00 a.m and left it in my vehicle for the morning. At 12:30 p.m. (the first time I opened it), the ice was all melted. Granted, it was a hot day (about 86) and I'm sure much warmer in my vehicle while parked, but I still expected the ice to last more than 4.5 hours in this bottle.
I certainly wouldn't spend this amount of money again for a bottle with such mediocre performance, in my opinion.

Thermos?I was looking for a thermos to keep soup hot until lunch time for when I’m on the job. I had heard of yeti’s reputation for drinkware so I decided to see if they had a thermos. Obviously they don’t but I decided to give this a try. The first day I tried it I nearly burned my mouth. The soup was still nearly boiling. I started making it the night before just so I could eat it easier. Overnight the soup was still steaming at lunch time. I highly recommend this for any use, just make sure you have a longer spoon to reach the bottom. I’m amazed by this product

Needs a mag slider optionI won this at work, and i was really excited to get it, though i didn't realize you have to take the cap off every time to have a drink, i went to rural king to get a optional lid, and was surprised the mag slider doesn't fit, and my only option was the rambler bottle straw cap ( which hits you in the nose if you drink it like a cup )or the chug cap, which you still have to take the cap on and off
so you have to use a straw, which isnt good for coffee ..any how great product, though yetti has all kinds of accessories but not a mag slider lid for the rambler, which they should make it a option down the road, other wise for coffee drinkers i"d get the 20 oz tumber

Held up great in the Mojave DesertI purchased the Rambler over the summer for the intent of taking it with me for Military training in the Mojave Desert. The Rambler held up to constant beatings and brutal temperatures. All the while, my water was always cold even when the ice melted after two days.
Upon my return from training. I had went Surf Fishing on the Delaware coast; Again bringing the Rambler with me. The Rambler again gave me an Ice cold drink while exposed to the elements on the beach.
Great product!! YETI has earned my business for years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It’s SO cylindricalI’m a total yeti addict. I have the big liter rambler, the lil 16 oz guy and now this 18 oz tall guy. What can I say ?! They’re unmatched. I work in construction and use this guy in the summer months for my ice coffee. I can screw the lid fast and stuff it in my lunch box with no worries of it leaking. Also bought the chug cap for it, which rules for, you guessed it. Chugging.
I bought it in charcoal which really brings out the color of my eyes and it’s limited edition so you know all my haters be jealous. 10/10 would also sneak booze into a park with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's big, and sealed12 hours in and it looks like no ice has melted. Unlike other cups or bottles there's no need to fill it 3/4 of the way with ice. This will do just fine with ice filled only 1/4 of the way. The closed system is what really shines, there's no sipping port on the lid to let heat in.
The "three finger grip" is a bit tight. Can't get past my second knuckle with three fingers. But I got big fingers.
There's also a bunch of stuff in the can. Take it out before the first rinse. Sticker glue is also a bit of a pain to remove, because the best way to remove it is hot water, but the yeti retains heat well so it becomes difficult to hold.
I've never put hot drinks in my yetis, so I can't speak to that.

Love my Yeti Collection - it gets addictive!I started off with a 20 oz Yeti Rambler, I now own 4 20 oz, 2 30 oz, a 36 water bottle, a 24 oz mug, and the 10 oz low-ball. They all work well for me, I have no complains at all and each one gets used regularly and has a niche in my active family. I still want more, especially the water bottles. I own other higher end brands but my Yeti still gets used daily. The Yeti rambles have a heavier heavy duty feel to them and I personally like the weight to them. If you have an eye on any Yeti product it is worth it, if not in performance, it definitely makes up for it with aesthetics. I have my eye on the coffee rambler and plan on buying on more products.
