Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some Fantastic Changes and Some Unnecessary Overall, this is definitely a great water bladder. Camelbak threw in a few changes from their old H2O bag but the best new feature by far is the quarter turn to close lid. No more futzing with the lid; its now quick and painless to open and close. The removable hose and the expandable "wings" under the lid rim make cleaning and drying insanely easy. One gripe; the plastic material they used seems to be less durable than the old model. Store the bag safely, any wrinkles or pressure points may cause some folds or stressed points on the bag, like mine has. Still, a great way to stay hydrated!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very convenient and good, but mouth piece not durable Good reservoir and many improvements from the earlier models. Good to have the option of just clicking the hose off, and that you can turn a valve at the end to be sure that you don't get water everywhere. ,,Also, the new lid is easy to open/close.,,Recommend getting this one, and one tip for you all:,,Sometimes in the mountains it can be difficult filling this from a tiny water source, just bring a small plastic bag and problem solved. To get to those irritating water drops just out of reach between rocks, you can bring a straw and suck it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best bladders you can find.! Don't waste your money on the leaky osprey, or the msr bladder. Camelback specializes in this field. They fit osprey bags, they fit any bag that is rated to hold the competitors. These things are simple, solid, and super reliable. They don't leak. The twist cap is great. This is an awesome bladder! I got the 100oz and definitely reccomend it, reguardless of what size your bag is. You can always put less water in the 100oz, and it's only 5 dollars more.! Don't waste your money on imposter bladders, this is the only bladder worth buying!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CamelBaks = best hydration bag! I have the same bladder except that "mil-spec" one. Not sure what the differences are, aside from one being blue and the other green. The bite valve works great, no leaks, the whole bag is well made and closes securely. Only gripe is that putting the dust cover over the bite valve is a pain in the butt - something for CamelBak to work on for sure. If you are getting a hydration bag, spend the few extra bucks over a platypus and get this one. Best choice imo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and good quality I bought the 1.5L bladder for my wife, the smaller bladder size is perfect for the wife since she drinks less water then I; and the small size keeps the weight down. The bladder is thick and there is no plastic taste. The hose is rather short but just long enough for someone using a smaller pack. The tip of the hose has a on/off valve which is well constructed and there is no drips when turned to "off" position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed and it works Have been on a several day hikes with this camelbak and it has worked perfectly. The 2L fit nicely into an REI daypack I already had. This reservoir has a hook on the screwtop that accommodates the clip from my daypack so it doesn't end up bunched in the bottom of the pouch.,,,,It is easy to fill, you can hold with one hand and use the other on a facet which is nice. Easy screw close and is water tight. The little align arrow on the cap is a nice touch. There is an internal rib that prevent the reservoir from expanding in the middle too much when filled.,,,,The hose and bite valve all worked well. I have not had any leaks. There is also a lock on the bite valve in case you wear out the rubber bite part. I used the lock a lot anyway when not drinking or when I set my pack down, mostly because I'm a little paranoid.,,,,Overall, I would recommend. My friend got the same thing and has liked it as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Success in the Himalayas Took this reservoir on a two week trek through the Annapurna Circuit. She held up like a champ! Easy to fill, clean and pack. No problems with leaks or tears. The volume is large enough to keep me hydrated for the day but the internal compartment divider keeps the volume from just flopping around! Seemed to balance the weight better! You won't regret this one :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good bladder I like the easy on/off clips for removing the hose. The 50 oz one I bought for my kid is maybe a little too small. The fill lid is also nice since you only have to turn it a little to open and close it. My only complaint is that the arms used to hold the bag open for drying are a little flimsy and will probably break long before the rest of the reservoir.
