Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants I've been buying Kuhl clothing for several years now and I must say my husband loves them. The extra pockets are nice and secure. The waist was a little snug at first but there is some give to the material so no big deal. Pretty true to size but tight if tucking in a couple of layers. They are lighter fabric and have plenty of room in the seat. The only down fall that I see is the material seems to ball or pill up on the inner thighs (and my husband has thin legs) and got a snag the second wear. I would still recommend, maybe not for really rough activities or rock climbing but they work for walking and normal every day wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wonderfully fitting pants, have had two pair of these pants in the past 5 yrs, they are extremely comfortable, great for hiking, traveling, and going out for social affairs, love how they fit so well. I feel the product is not durable, lasting or well made. the pants now after two years of wearing them are loosing stitching from material, the material is getting matting and wearing too fast. I have called the company and they say I wear them too much but I feel that was not acceptable. I am hoping the company can enhance the durability of their product. I truly love these pants and will purchase more but hoping the company can make them better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kuhl pants have become my all-time favorites. I have purchased 4 different styles now (Renegade, Outrage, Liberator Convertible, and Revolvr), and like all of them very much. It seems I hardly wear anything else lately. All of the pants mentioned above have similar cut and features, but the different fabrics give them quite different characters. Here's a link to the Kuhl pants page, if you want to peruse the product details: http://www.kuhl.com/kuhl/mens/pants/revolvr/ The Revolvr and Outrage are both made from a cotton/nylon blend, but the Outrage is somewhat lighter weight, although both fabrics are rather light. The Renegade is nylon/spandex (did you know spandex was an anagram of expands?), and is the lightest and stretchiest of the styles I own. The Liberator is a heavier cotton/nylon blend, and is the only one I've owned for more than a few months, so far is it proving very durable. Honestly, these are all great pants! The design features, fabrics, and fit (I am 5'7, 130 lbs) make these my current go-to pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some of the best .... These pants have zero restriction. I climb every day for my job and these are the bomb. They are flexible enough for stretching, reaching, and my cohonies love them. I have a new favorite pants thanks Moosejaw. I am will be buying more and talking my budies into some also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of Equipment. I'll be honest I am writing this for the points however these pants are boss. Not only are they incredible to wear in the mountains of Central Asia but also in Northern MN where I am from. They are very convenient for both basic mountaineering or extended hiking. They really are durable and very comfortable. Also they vent fairly well which is convenient because I can wear them for a long time. I'd highly recommend these to someone who is new to outdoors sports, does them recreationally, or is avid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from High rise pants, tight through crotch by design These pants (and the three types of Kuhl pants I've tried) are the only kind I've encountered with unsolvable fit problems. They seem to be "cut"/designed for bicyclist-skinny body types in whatever size you get. They are "high-rise" through the crotch area (meaning short distance between waist and crotch); you can have a pair that is falling off your hips, but still be tight through the crotch. You can see hints of this in the product picture, with the cut of the pants always creating a "cup"/pouch right up front that puts you on very public display. And if you sit down long, expect numbness. Though I'm a non-controversial 36x32", I found the same tight-through the crotch issue, with the front-center "look-at-me pouch presentation" problem, in 38x32", 38x34" and even 40x32" pants that would otherwise fall to my knees if let go. Never encountered this with any other brand, but find it consistently so with Kuhl. Unusable brand of pants for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable pants These are good comfortable pants. Kühl makes some great products. I like these for the most part. They leave a little to be desired as far as looks go. But they are very comfortable! And they held up very well on a month long hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the fabric blend! These pants fit nicely and have several pouches/pockets for anything and everything without being too bulky. The fabric is a fantastic blend that does not wrinkle and is very breathable.
