Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but could use refinement This jacket is quite warm despite its light weight and appearance. Materials and construction are excellent, but it could use a few features. Pockets are somewhat lacking, especially internal pockets. It could also benefit from a fastener between the layers at the collar and perhaps a second in the sleeves as they tend to pull when removing the coat. Handwarmer pockets are a tad small. Fit is quite slim for a winter jacket. If you plan on a bulky under layer like a hoodie or fleece, definitely order a size up. I wear a Medium in every Marmot jacket I have owned, but wish I had ordered a large in this. With a few small refinements, this jacket would be a sure 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from World-class customer service! I purchased a men's Torino shell on sale but the size was too small for my son. I thought I would exchange it for a larger size but by then the sale jackets had sold out. When I called Marmot, the person I spoke with could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. He exchanged the jacket I had purchased on sale (last year's model) for a larger size in this year's model and honored the sale price for the new jacket plus gave me free shipping! I could not be more impressed! Oh, and the jacket is wonderful too! My son loves the blue color and all the great pockets and features. Thank you for a great product and superior customer service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect everyday jacket I got this jacket to replace my (very old) everyday jacket. I wanted a waterproof jacket that didn't feel waterproof and this is it. The shell material is very soft and "quiet" unlike many waterproof materials. It's very warm and the zip out liner will make this a fantastic 4-season jacket. There's enough Velcro on the cuffs to adjust to the right size and not have a flap leftover to hang off and curl up. The only downside really for me comes when hanging it on a doorknob since the shell tends to slide off the liner. This, in turn, will be an upside for my wife since it will eventually get me to stop hanging my jackets on the closet doorknob--something my wife hates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jacket Review After spending a month in Montana and Wyoming I knew I need a better jacket. The jacket was shipped and arrived quickly. It fits perfectly and is well made. I like the inner jackets ability to come and be used in cooler weather. It packs well and the weight is perfect since I combined since I will not need to pack two jackets. Only issue is I have not had enough cold weather to rate the warmth. (story I live in Florida and travel). But I have used Marmots products before and I see no issue in what is is rated for. I will update the review when I get back to some cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoroughly impressed This is an amazing jacket. I was skeptical when I went out and it was 19 degrees F. I had only a t-shirt and my Rambler on top. I was so warm i was almost sweating. However, the moisture wicking tech kept me dry. The hood seemed too thin to be effective. I was again surprised that it kept me comfortable and warm. It seems that the design funnels body heat up to keep you Eskimo warm. Tonight I just returned from a dog walk and it is -4 F with strong wind. I had my rambler jacket and a hoodie underneath with snow pants and jeans. My legs were chilled my hands were numb but my torso again was toasty warm! I am confident I would have been acceptably warm without the hoodie underneath. I think that this jacket far exceeds what I thought were its limitations. I never expected it to perform in such cold temperatures. I hope the waterproofing is just as exceptional as the cold and wind performance. Marmot you've created an amazing product. Thanks so much. -Mike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I've had this jacket for about a month and I love it. I bought it for skiing but it also works well as an everyday cold weather jacket. When spring comes around I'll likely just go with the fleece and it's really nice to have the option. On thing is that I wish the Velcro was stronger on the opening flap. Sometimes I'd like to just use that to keep the jacket closed instead of having to zip up but it's really not strong enough to keep it closed. But overall, very happy. 5'10", 155, medium fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality and Warm Jacket! I bought this jacket and love it. The shell is surprisingly soft the coat as a whole is very forgiving, soft, and warm. I'm loving this jacket and am sure it will last me for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Jacket This jacket is a good all pupose winter or cold weather jacket. It repels snow and rain. The interior is soft and warm. Marmot tends to run small, si I got the XL. I'm 510 and weigh 175.
