Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tent with ample space. I bought this tent recently and love it! It has a lot of room and is easy to set up. Lots of good ventilation and access on both sides which makes it easy for everyone to get in and out. We use it as a roomy 3 person tent with the backpacking cots from thermarest. The feature that I like the most about this tent is the extra room at the base of the walls from the tent pole design. The poles go up about a foot before bowing over to hold the tent. This small feature makes a huge difference for us when sleeping on the cots to keep our feet and heads away from the walls. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airy and dry I bought this tent to replace a small Coleman tent, I needed more room and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get wet if it rains. The setup was easy and I like the fact that most of the top of the tent is made of mesh. I'm in Florida so it's very humid at night especially in the summer time. It rained the first night we were in it and when we woke up in the morning there was no condensation whatsoever in the tent. About the construction, it's very lightweight and the stakes are very sturdy. I liked the fact that this tent comes with a footprint. It's a bit tight for 4 people, especially if you're bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived a week at Boy Scout Summer Camp I slept in this tent for 6 consecutive nights in August 2015 in Northwood, NH during Boy Scout Summer Camp. We had strong t-storms twice during the week and I was comfortable and dry the whole time. I used one of the internal loops to hang my BSA uniform on a hangar during the week to keep it unwrinkled. I hung a small Black Diamond Orbit battery-powered lantern from the center hook which illuminated the interior at night. The one day which I didn't keep the vestibule doors open during the day (because of thunderstorms) I did notice some light condensation on the interior...it quickly disappeared wiping it with a hand towel. I also have the Marmot Limelight 4P and chose to bring the Tungsten 4P during this trip because it has slightly more mesh (especially towards the top / roof) for better summertime cooling. It was a bit cooler at night (mid-50s) towards the end of the week and I was wishing I bought the Limelight instead lol. I had to make my own guy lines (from paracord) and use 6 additional (not included) plastic stakes to stake down the guy lines. I also tied some orange fluorescent flag tape to the 6 guy lines so that campers would see them and not trip over them. I also noticed that if you want to stake-down the included footprint, it's a tad bit small, so I created an additional loop of paracord on each end so that I could stake it down at the same time with the tent loops. The tent is big enough to have an extra large Mountain Summit Gear cot in it which I slept on. I also had plenty of room for a footlocker, backpack and other supplies. There was plenty of room to store my folding camp chair and folding 2-wheel dolly under the other vestibule (the entrance I wasn't using). I protected my gear in the tent by securing both tent doors / zippers with small key locks. Overall I was very happy sheltering in this tent for nearly a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spaccious Was going to go with the limelight because of the numerous reviews but wanted something with a newer design and this had a lower price point. Super easy to set up and really big and airy inside. No gear loft or ceiling pockets but overall great tent for the price. I use it for motorcycling camping so I needed something light and packs well. It just works so I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, airy and super dry I bought this tent for the big space. Four people would be tight, especially if they are big people. I use it with my two young sons and there is plenty of room. It is light and super easy to set up. The stakes are super sturdy and the mesh top keeps condensation down overnight. The fly also does an incredible job of keeping the tent dry in rain. On my last campout, I got rained on for 10 hours in this tent and there was literally not a drop of water in it. Unreal. Then a windy cold front blew in and the low height combined with the aerodynamic fly kept the wind from blowing it over while some of the other bargain tents were flipping around wildly. Super satisfied with this purchase. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice car camping tent I bought this tent at the last minute when we decided we needed a bigger tent for a canoe camping trip. Although I didn't have a chance to set it up before heading out, the Marmot design is pretty easy, so I was able to get this up between rain showers when we arrived at the campsite. The design is pretty good, with both some "nice to have" features (the corner pockets and the lamp shades to diffuse light from headlamps, as well as designs that will soon be "need to have." The bent poles really seem to make the sleep space noticeably larger. And even without the guy lines attached, it was more than sturdy enough to hold up to a thunderstorm, with my kids more concerned about making sure the dog didn't freak out than being worried the ten would come down on them. Made their first camping experience an awesome one. You should also note that the tent does not include stakes for the guy lines. But in my view, the trade off with the included footprint is a more than equal tradeoff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot Tungsten 4P Innovative design, we all know what happens when the sleeping bag contacts the wall of the tent overnight... it gets wet. The short wall design will help with that. It's bitterly cold tonight -20 with wind. This tent is a great 3S, but wish they made a true 4S at this price point. The extra weight is for more durable materials and it is worth it. Also, not everyone wants neon colors because some of us want to blend in not stand out.. how about some camo?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from huge! Superb tent for family cycling trips. I love that it is so high and the kids can stand inside and play. Very roomy thanks to the shape of the poles at the bottom. Super easy to setup. Fairly light, double entry is very convenient, clear color nice in hot areas, littles cons : not enough stakes supplied, no elastic cords on the sides, no footprint supplied where I purchased it, could be a little lighter so compete with MSR tents.
