Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Performance for an affordable bag! Purchased the Women's Trestles 15 to replace a unisex synthetic bag from another manufacturer (who will be unnamed). My favorite sleeping bag so far! The highlights: -Packs down into the provided stuff sack to fit nicely into the bottom of my 50L backpack -Fairly lightweight for it's temperature rating -GREAT for shorter women - I am only 5'1" and I don't feel like I'm swimming in it -Stash pocket on inside of the bag adds a nice spot to store electronics or small items (contacts, etc.) -Durable and quality construction - nothing on this bag feels cheap Overall an awesome bag that I'm sure I'll have for many years to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy and Warm I bought this bag because I'm a "cold sleeper," and it definitely did the trick. Even when it was chilly outside I was snuggly in my bag. It got REALLY hot though some nights, so I would recommend bringing a sheet along if you expect this might happen to you. The bag is really comfortable and soft, which my feet appreciated. It's true, the zipper does snag, but it's an easy fix if you're patient. I didn't have much of an issue with it. The pack doesn't get as small as a down bag, but I was surprised how small I was able to get it. Fit nice in my 65 liter's compartment, and I still had room to stuff a pillow/book in there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and kept me toasty warm I bought the Trestles bag from REI for trekking in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, in July. We spent several nights above 14,000 feet, awakening to ice on the tents.I used a silk bag liner and slept in old polypro long underwear. The tent was cold, but I was warm, which is why I got this bag. The hood was a real help with warmth and very convenient to keep my inflatable pillow in place. The included compression stuff sack was great as the bag is pretty puffy and would take up too much space for transport without it. The small gear pocket inside was surprisingly useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth every penny! My wife is always cold. So I have to admit that the first night we camped and she used this bag I was able to get a good night sleep. Without my wife waking me up to tell me she is cold i could finally enjoy a night out in the woods! The temps dropped down into the upper thirties and she said that her only complaint was that she had to take her socks off because she was a little too warm. Great bag!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meh... I've upgraded. I suppose it's a good bag for the price, but I have upgraded to the Kelty Woman's SB 20 DriDown Sleeping Bag. I am 5'8" and 140lbs with an athletic build so I got size Regular; which...has about a foot extra in the bottom which seems like a waste that adds weight to the bag. Which brings me to the next downside....this bag, even when synched down is heavy and huge! It takes the entire bottom part to my Osprey 45L pack. On the plus side, I have slept in a hammock in this with a semi tarp (only over my torso and head) when it was raining and my feet didn't get wet. The outside of the sleeping bag was wet; however, it didn't reach my feet which was nice. Overall, this is a great car camping sleeping bag that will keep you warm and will zip to the men's version (which is REALLY nice and optimizing cuddling when cold), but is too heavy. I suggest if your budget allows for a nicer sleeping bag = get a different sleeping bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good values. For the price of this bag, it's pretty good. I've always been a cold sleeper and have only been cold in this bag a few times, mostly during the late fall or early spring. I got it partly to zip together with my boyfriend's Trestles which is a great way to use it. However, the zipper on the women's bag is shorter than the men's, which is a pain when you're trying to get them apart to re-pack them. That's my only complaint; I'd recommend this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for short women This is the best sleeping bag I have ever purchased. It's warm, soft, and overall extremely comfortable. It's perfect for my size. I am 5 foot 1 and have had issues with sleeping bags before being way too long. The only complaint I have about it is that the zipper gets stuck a lot. Other than that thumbs up! Oh yeah- packs up nicely. Barely takes up room and very lightweight. I will use this on all my backpacking trips in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mmm - so nice So mind you this is my first 'real' sleeping bag...I finally graduated from my 5th grade princess polyester bag. Ok, while that might not be true, this is my first light weight performance bag and so far so good. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Thanks Moosejaw for helping me get here, I couldn't have done it without you. So if you're like me on a tight budget and in need of something warm and awesome, look no further.
