Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty Warm I am using this sleeping bag now in the mitten state! We are renovating our recently purchased 91 RV - the propane recently ran out and this bag kept me toasty in Michigan's blustery weather.. Thumbs up! This bag rocks.. we discovered the zipper heads glow in the dark, too! Awesome quality.. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price I am 5'4" and the regular bag fit my perfectly. I took this bag for a multi-day overnight trip. The weather dropped into the 40s overnight which didn't even notice when sleeping in this bag. I even slept in shorts and a sports bra one night without getting cold. I has two zippers (half zip and full zip) which was nice. It came with a stuff sack so it compressed down small enough so that I was able to fit it in my sleeping bag compartment of my Deuter bag along with my sleeping pad, rain gear and sweatshirt. It will work perfectly for my future adventures and I can't wait to use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packing Volume for Those Interested It would be very helpful if Marmot would publish the packing volume of their products. After some trial and error, I found that this bag (Trestles 30 W) would just fit in a 15-litre cylindrical dry/compression sack: the final cylinder measures 7.5" dia x 17" when compressed as tightly as is reasonable. If you are using an ordinary drysack (without compression), you will need a 20L sack to get it to fit. Although not specifically designed for backpacking, I do use it for that, as well as for cycle touring and canoe camping, where it is important to keep track of your packing volume (and of course, your weight). It is a bit tight to get it to fit in the bottom sleeping bag compartment of my 55L and 70L backpacks, so I use the above drysack to attach it outside my pack--below or above. Otherwise, a product worthy of the Marmot brand: probably the best value/performance ratio out there. For the price, it is definitely worth 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Sleeping Bag I've been camping with this sleeping bag a bunch now and I really like it! It compresses really well, is lightweight, and comfortable. I am 5'6" and the regular size fits perfectly. I appreciate that the toe box is warmer as well. I have to dock the sleeping bag a star because at around 35 degrees I start to get cold in this bag - although I do tend to run cold. Moving forward I'll probably add a liner to the bag in conditions under 40 degrees. All in all a great sleeping bag for the price though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All kinds of Awesome- except for the color I have NO complaints about this sleeping bag. I am a very curvy woman with plenty in the hip area and I find this bag to be roomy enough for me to toss and turn all night without giving me a feeling of claustrophobia. I have NOT had a chance to try it out in 30* yet. My school of thought for buying this bag over others is this: I can always unzip my bag, or sleep on top of my bag. It's easier to neglect using a warm bag than it is to wish for a warmer sack when you are freezing. The only thing I was kind of bummed about was the color. I really wanted a blue sack- while this may not be important for some- I personally wanted to keep all my gear blue. I find that while traveling if all your gear matches in color it stands out, it is identifiable at a distance, and there is never much question as to whose it it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bag is a great value for the price. I think that this bag is perfect for 3-season camping. I've used it a few times and everytime I've been warm and cozy. I'm 5'4" and the small was perfect for me. I even had extra room. The size is nice and I think it's very packable for backpacking. My favorite features were the easily accessible zippers and pull strings. I think the bag is great for the price and I would highly recommend it. Also, the color is stellar. Who doesn't love green?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Marmot! After plenty of research we bought a mated pair of LONG bags.,,1) Wanted a good compromise between weight size and comfort.,,They compress down to about the size of a volleyball (the included compression sack is probably worth $20 on its own). The interior lining is super comfortable and we were plenty warm at 3 deg C. The 5'10" size rating seems accurate,,2) Needed mate-able bags.,,The bags mate easily with great zippers. We didn't even notice the zippers above and below us when we were sleeping. The half zippers on the sides were awesome for independent ingress and egress. The hoods are still functional when joined,,3) Needed synthetic insulation.,,My partner is allergic to down. The bags have plenty of loft. BTW the temp rating for womens long is 5 deg better than the regular,,4) Wanted a reputable brand and store.,,Any Marmot products we have are excellent quality and Moosejaw was awesome to deal with.,,Bottom line: BUY IT!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOOOOVE IT! So I upgraded to this sleeping bag and I am in absolute love with it. The green is more bright than on this picture. It is a really pretty color and the zipper is purple. There is a "secret stash" compartment on the inside of the bag. It also comes with a compression bag. It only weighs a little over 3 lbs so perfect for me when I am backpacking!
